They're good for first skins, Adjuntant_Reflex, but it's obvious that you used the bucket tool, which makes skins look unrealistic. Try using the brush on Normal mode or Multiply mode at first, and reduce the opacity to suit your needs. The various select tools help a lot as well.
Here is my latest skin, a crimson Battle Droid:
Sorry, it's kinda hard to see the crimson part and recognize that it is crimson. If that makes sense.

Yeah,but im using Gimp and I dunno how to increase transparency. Can you tell me how to do it? Oh and nice skin.

Thanks. To decrease opacity in GIMP (which is what I use) you simply drag the slider to the left (the slider is under the section with all the different tools on the main interface) until you reach the desired opactiy. You have to have the brush tool selected also.

wow, that doesn't look bad for a first skin. My tip for the future; try to "brush" a little fewer (if that's correct grammar)

But it looks like rust in game, it was a perfect skin for my map

no,no,no,no,no. You werent offensive,I have much better skins than that. I just posted that one because I had a good screenshot of it and it was my first step into modding. It was constructive criticism,which is great.

I dont expect anyone to LOVE my skins,im an amateur,I do this for fun after school. Im not the best at skinning,I know that.
