Hey guys, this my second version of my map Jabiim. I fixed most of the terrain and sound issues and added some new stuff. I put in a new scripted mission, and reskinned some of the props.
I had to remove the dual pistols on the Arc-trooper though to balance out the sides some more.

Here is the url: http://www.filefront.com/14556309/Jabiim%20V.2.zip(don't use this one)

fixed mist version: http://www.filefront.com/14600231/Jabii ... n-2.1.zip/

And here is the Readme:

Jabiim Version 2 by StarkillerMarek
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Hey guys, this is my upgraded version of Jabiim.

Changes from the last one: added tweaked hailfire droid,
a few added props,
minor tweaks all around,
majority of vehicle sounds,
mist effects,
Arc-Trooper Weapons,
and all new mission,

The game modes are conquest for both GCW and CW, the hunt mode has CW and is the mission.

Please note that the excess of mist may slow the game down if you do not have a great CPU.
The mist was used to make it more Jabiim-like.

I may release another version without mist if requested to do so.

Features: At-At walkers, reskinned muddy clones, Hero Support, and a lot of other stuff.

Instructions: Put the folder "JA2" into C:ProgramFiles/LucasArts/Star Wars Battlefront 2/Gamedata/Addon, if you don't have an Addon folder, make one(trust me, it works)

Credits: Pandemic/Lucasarts
Kinetosimpetus: Dc-17 pistol
Pfwskip for Mission Scripter and Darth D.U.C.K. for engilsh translation
Elfie: skinnig tutorial
All people at Gametoast
Lord Bertie for Westar M5 rifle
Someone for Adding Water So it doesn't crash tutorial
And most likely any one who was credited in the last Readme

Jabiim v2.1

Please note that this the upgraded second version of Jabiim. The first second version caused too much lag. All lag is now removed, but a strange black smoke can be seen in the direction of one of the command posts. There is a scripted mission, and CW and GCW modes. Hunt mode is the scripted mission. There are reskinned clone troopers, and an assorment of vehicles.

First Ark Mion, then Dalonni, and now Jabiim. GT is on a role!

Looks good! Though I've already got one remark on the lighting (terrain becomes lighter in the distance); I heard that you can change the range of the lighting somewhere in .wld file, or some other. I don't know for sure, you could try looking that up. (it could make the lighting on you map look more consistent).
Also, the background appears very very very flat. Even making very subtle height differences in the background could already take away that.
It does look good though, honestly! (before I upset someone else because they think I'm always too negative; honestly, I try not to be :P )

Thanks, some of these screenshots are from the last version though, I'll have to take some more.

you should add a GCW conquest too. With a custom rebel side (prisioners) with Kyle Katarn as hero. You could even make Galak for the empire.

(all this woult represent what hapened in Jedi Knight II: Outcast)

It's lagging a lot for me in Galactic Civil War conquest.

EDIT: Clone Wars too.

That is most likely caused by the mist. I might release a version without mist as it says so in the Readme. You could try setting the resolution down until then.

Ya, I agree with Nihilio, the fog is giving me serious lag on my computer. Even on low! Besides the fog, I did notice a few geonosian objects that did not get reskinned so yo might wanna fix that before the next release and the jet trooper is just the default Phase I, no difference. I'm not sure if you did that on purpose or just forgot, but I change his skin to match the other units in the legion.

If you want a misty-Jabiim feel, try the mist from Dagobah or Rhen Var.

Rhen Var doesn't lag as much for me(BF Zero Rhen Var was fine)

Otherwise, I think you should go with the no-mist version idea.

I was deadlocked in-game

All of the geonosian props got reskinned, however, the red on them is so strong it was very difficult to get them brown without losing the detail. I purposely made it so he(jettrooper) did not get reskinned because I thought it made more sense. I think I will make another version using dagobah's mist.

I will take all of you guy's ideas into consideration, but some of them may not happen because I'm kinda getting tired of this map.

Let me guess, you used the bucket fill tool? There are other (easier) ways to recolor a texture. Color Balance, Hue-Saturation, and Colorize to name a few.

No, I used the Colorize tool.

Okay, but there is still a way to make something so red, brown. Assuming you use GIMP, try this:

1.) Open up the original Geonosian texture that you want to edit.
2.) Go to Colors>Hue-Saturation and move the slider on Saturation to -100 and click OK.
3.) Go to Layer>Transparency>Color to Alpha and click OK (white should be the default color).
4.) Open up a new image with same dimension as the skin you are editing.
5.) Find a brownish color and use the bucket fill tool to "fill" the new image with that color.
6.) Copy and paste the skin you edited over the newly filled image. The texture should appear brown.
7.) If it is too dark, undo the paste and adjust the lightness of the brownish color with Hue-Saturation (the lightness slider) and then paste again.

Hope that helps.
