We won't give others the ability to ship Unification with other people's maps; however we will release a tutorial for adding the Unification era, so that if MEU is installed they can play it on your map.

Why? It would just spread the mod more out and would make it more loved :)

Well no, not really. People using our assets in their mods wouldn't be spreading Unification around. But regardless of that... We haven't nailed down what assets we are or aren't releasing. My biggest issue is the lack of credit. I've seen other people's work from Gametoast end up elsewhere being claimed as their own. It really drives me nuts, which makes me just want to hoard the assets.

We will however, at least, release some example assets to show you how we did things so that perhaps you can create content that looks similar.

I remembered that the Sol mappack maps were supposed to have a Mass-Effect era: when do you think you will implement it ? (I think mass effect would fit very well with Venus-Research Station).

We do intend to release updates for Pioneer Trails, Venus and Luna with MEU era support.

Kinda like ODF files? Also I agree that maybe the models and map assets for this particular mod should stay private. The amount of hard work all your team has put into them deserves to be kept exclusive and special. I wouldn't ever think of it as being selfish, but protecting something that a lot of talented people worked on. That's my opinion though.

ODFs would be fine to release.

We'd also release effects, and probably some examples of what they can do with models (with normal maps, specular, etc).

And some textures. I'm a greedy hoarding Diet Dr. Pepper though so we'll see which ones I release.

*all the ones not made by me*

Awesome mod for the maps that I have gotten to play it on!
But on all of the additional maps, as well as many stock maps the mod keeps crashing I haven't seen anyone having a problem with this on r2.
I ran the installer is there anything else I have to do?
I'll take the time to reinstall the game to see if that works but was wondering if there was any reason it is crashing?

Which maps exactly are crashing? Are you loading other working maps before trying to load the crashing maps? Have you tried making the crashing maps the very first maps that you load upon starting up the game?

Yep, it's working, just takes awhile. Opened it earlier this afternoon and forgot about it, found the installer open just now.

Mass effect has never felt better, great job THEMARTHMAN. Seriously though, the new siege mode is a ton of fun to play.

That's Tantive IV, or rather, our edited version of Tantive IV.

When it came to the edits to the Tantive IV model and all that, Marth did that. My only contribution was the force field texture. If you're referring to a specific unit model or something, you're gonna have to be less vague about it.

There's a scripted event that happens at some point randomly during the match. It blows a hole in the side of the ship, causing decompression until the force field is in place.
