i read the tutorial meticulously, and it didn't work...some bug...but even still, the characters wouldn't breathe in real water

Are you trying to make it seem like it's underwater? You should PM Astute and ask him. He made an entire underwater map (by changing the sky file and tinkering with the units' odf's).

the people's odf files... the speed settings... just don't change the turnrate numbers.

Where do you think??
in the Assets>Sides>FactionSide>Unit's_odf.odf
the unit's .odf are named like ALL the other .odf files; i.e. all_inf_marksman
that's the .odf for the Rebel Sniper

Import the side you want to change, then go to datamodid/sides/all or imp or cis or rep.

did you CHANGE the speed..... and edit the mission.lua to call the custom rep.lvl instead of the one that is in the game?

The "
mission.lua" file
Dash' mentioned above corresponds to the
LUA scripts located in the following directory : "
BFBuilder\Data[ModID]\Common\Scripts\[ModID]".
