Takera; Corellia; Dathomir; Talus (Update 8/2/10)

This is one of the few maps i made in the past months that have come over 50 %. It's a big lake surrounded by big rock walls, once this whole valley was used to be a even bigger lake. Now there are just rock pillars of that once big lake left.
Screens:
The map still needs some detail work and foliage varity.
I'd be most thankful for anyone who wants to offer his help on the sides.
I'm not sure about the maps title yet, if anyone has a better idea than i had is mostly welcome.
Other than that it's around 70 % done.
My second project is Corellia: Mountain Tops
As the name suggests the battle will take place on a mountain. The gameplay feels like King of the Hill in some ways.
Screenies:
overall the map is pretty much done, i might add one or two more paths.
The third one is Dathomir: (no-name-yet)
This map just reached about 50 % and i thought it deserves to be shown. It takes place on a hill/canyon -like area.
Screens:
A lot of credits yet go to skyhammer for his awesome dead trees and his sky.
Comments? Critism? Suggestions?

Looks nice and all, but perhaps a tad too much like the shipped Dagobah.

A big lag? Not sure I want one of those.
Seriously, looks nice. I agree with Xav, though.

Ah, I had noticed that in the first post too, but I had assumed it was a typo.

thanks for the advice, I'll try to give it a more unique touch.

Uh, now it looks a bit wrong...
I don#t know, it just doesn't fit in with the fog and the rest, IMO.

the fact that we both use dagobah props and fog, it doesn't mean it's gonna be exactly the same map (just guess if there was only one geonosis made, it's just the same envoirement) theultimat's map looks other than the lightning and props not much like mine (his map has more of a swamp, mine more of a jungle) (judging from the 5 pics we both have)
if theultimate wishes me to send him over the map to try it out if it's too much the same and if it is I'll of course change it.
back to the map progress: i changed the lightning back to the original one. now I'm gonna concentrate on finishing the natural stuff up.

Hey TK, since Delta has more free time, he has offered to make the sides for you.

I don't mind/care if you did steal my map or didn't, ok? I understand they would be default both look similar by default. So no more arguing. Let's be happy. Good luck with your mod.

It could look nice if you edited the props, sky, and fog to match. I'd say try it out, or perhaps try some different combinations of colors. I'm just not a huge fan of the current "Dagobah-replica" look.

Sice I'm making the sides for this map (which looks very good so far), TK said that I can post here the sides' progress.
The sides (Rep and Csi) are both 85% completed, I just have to do some minor adjustments (like balancing, right now the cis is slightly more powerfull than the clones).
The map will feature the 182nd clone legion:
and the (new) cis has some new classes (commando droid, elite magna guard, droid commander and i will put a trandoshan instead the droid engineer).
9 units for each team.
