Custom Icons

Any of you who have seen the ingame topic in the modding forum will have seen these.
They are custom Icons that will show up in the selection screen as well as in the holos in conquest. These become part of the map so they do stay with the map no need to change the shipped ingame.lvl file.
This is a sample pack of 4, I have also included a .XSI file for postioning and size reference should you desire to make your own. Here are some pics of the Icons.

Yes, fianlly. Now we won't have CW or GCW icons in KotOR either..

Oh this is so great! The XSI will come handy as well; now we can even make new icons for hunt!

This is great! Didn't someone else do this with Spawn points? Correct me if I'm wrong, I know nothing. They could be released as a pack and it would be like custom side thingy pack.

@ Silvadalek Not sure if anyone else has done it or did it this way.
I have been playing more and you do not have to restrict yourself to the com_icon_controlzone.tga
The tga should still be about 64x64

Hmm I am running Zerted's free cam (last years version) and I am not having any problems. They shouldn't conflict as long as you just have the icon stuff in your ingame.req and not all the other stuff. And copy the ingame.lvl to your map folder in the addon directory. Don't replace the games ingame.lvl.

Maps that I haven't applied the Custom Icons to work fine with free cam, even the non-custom-icon eras of a map that has custom icons in one era are fine, but the era that does have the custom icons has troubles, which I guessed were caused by it using a custom ingame.lvl
