Also, how do you change the sky? Do you just replace the ABC.sky with a new one and then just rename the new one to ABC.sky? Or is there lua coding in there some where?
Sorry for coming across like a noob.....
You have to open up the sky file, and there is a list of files (tga and others), which you need to go grab from the sky's world1 folder.

then put in your world1 folder.

Wow, look good for a first map.

You guys the sky isn't working. I've copied
everything that has sky in it's name from Tatooine into my world1 folder. And what irks me is that the yavin sky is still there, even though I deleted everthing that had yavin and sky in it's name.
EDIT: @nova, Thanks!
EDIT 2: And yes, I copied the tat2.sky and renamed it TTT.sky.
EDIT 3: And how do I open up a .sky file?
EDIT 4: Ignore edit #3. You open it with notepad.
EDIT 5: Do I need these?
And if so, where do I find them?

The Tatooine sky is really bright and sunny. Shouldn't this map be cloudy since Earth just got nuked?

True... But I could put cloud objects in the tatooine sky. That would set the 'just been nuked' mood.

yeah, just use mygeeto smoke/clouds effect.
You may need to clean for the sky to work. Remember the only files that need to be copied are the ONES IN TATOOINE'S SKY FILE
Hope this helps.

and no you do not need those files you asked for on EDIT 5.

Oh thank goodness. Those would be hard to find.

DUH! Why didn't I think of that!? Thanks, I'll try that.
EDIT
Ok, now that we all know I'm a noob, here is the new sky!
What do ya think?

no prob. As I said before PM me with any questions, I've gotten quite good with lua coding now.

Sky looks great! If I could suggest one thing, it would be to "nuke it up", like the others said. After all, its right after earth got nuked, so I doubt the sky will be a clear blue!

I think there are a bit too many wide, open spaces. Not enough props.

It would be wicked if you could put Terminator music in the map.

If you're looking for new skydome textures;
check this out (look for skies360) (the night sky looks fitting for a Terminator style)

Thanks so much guys!
@mwsf Thanks, but I like the Tatooine sky.
@Fiodis Yes that will be done.
@Par I have the bespin cloud. It will work well I think.
@Darthslim Yeah, I was thinking about that. I will take alot of work and exceeds my modding knowledge.
EDIT: Poll time! Should there be heroes in this map? Like John Conner and Arnold.
