I :lol:ed about the wireframe (looks really funny)
But textured it looks better than everything I could make.

While not particularly great, in-game it'd definetly be a motorcycle. The spokes and tire UVs could be redone somewhat.

But I wanted to post a pic really bad.
Still have mainly texture work to do, might do a little more work to the body.

Hey that looks very nice. The only thing I would change is that arched block on the top of the helmet. It was considerably thicker than what the model has now (the current arch is a remnant of the phase 1 'fin' on the helmet).

Other than that it looks good. I presume you'll be doing all the extra little touch ups with the meshtool?

Render for the pirates tank didn't go so well, but in any case, here are my tanks that I plan to put in Prime Front:
85-HT Assilment
Prometheus-Class Hover Tank
Both tanks are hover tanks. The Assilment belongs to the Space Pirates, and the Prometheus to the Federation. Actually, I was going to name the Prometheus "Chimera" because the model is a cross between StarWars' AAT and Halo's Wraith. At least IMO.

Superb models, but the texturing could definitely use a bit of work.

They strike me as somewhat simple.

exactly my thoughts
for such small models you just cant use tiled textures, it cant look good (maybe its nor possible to create reals UVs in sketchup..)

It's possible to make UV-like textures, but the process to do that just makes more polies. It's just better to use photo texturing, which I'm trying to figure out how to do... it's not going so well...

Not really. You can position, skew and resize textures, but you need to do it individually for every poly.

I suppose I'd agree that they should be a little more intricate, but the textures need improvement, for sure.

Haven't got my issue yet. I'm looking forward to reading the article

Not bad
But can't really judge without his trademark spiky hair
(now we need an ichigo model to fit the Zangetsu shikai I made)

Doing some models for breakdown's SWBF
1 map "Raka's Adventure". Gonna be some kind of fantasy/Medieval map as far as I get it.

Looks nice. The roof might be a bit orange though

Noticed. It's not the easiest thing to make it look right all the time when you paint it from scratch, I might go back and revise it.

Are the sides of the house supposed to be non-planar (and not flattened along the X- and Z-axes)?

I always know when a model is your model. I saw the texture and YJJ just clicked. Very nice.

I like your stone and wood textures, but the quality (and not just the color) of the thatched roof is in contrast to the quality of the other two - I would, at the very least, make a finer grain on the reeds up top (maybe similar to the grain of the wood). The color might work better in a greenish as well, but that's more personal preference than anything.
Oh, and I would maybe adjust the stone textures so that the corners of the house don't look as obviously model-like as they do. Even if you don't want to make it so the stones match up on all four sides, at least use some painted-on grout as a border.

Hey, Mav, thanks - I am all aware of everything you said, but... you know. I am a bit lazy.
I'll fix it up later today though.

One of the
simple models I've made last weeks. People shouldn't think BF0 is having a break because we don't post, I'm just to lazy to update every single change. Anyhow, here's the semihero for BF0's Kashyyyk
Guess who it is? The armor is indeed, not entirely canon (simple AT-AT Pilot reskin)
