Here's one of my more memorable feats.

I was playing C&C Renegade MP (may have been the demo..it was long ago), the map was CC Under, and I'd decided to run into the open with the basic GDI minigunner. I forgot the battle situation, but as I get into the open, I run dead on into a NOD light tank. Uh-oh. So, what did I do? Why, what any sensible person would do: spray my minigun at the thing and charge! The tank tried to fire at me, but I was dodging so well I was barely taking damage. When I was almost upon it, it started moving...in reverse! :P I made that tank retreat all the way back into the NOD base with the worst possible infantry class. Haha!

The funny thing about early C&C games was that rifle fire could damage tanks, so it was used in Renegade. The bullets were doing some minor damage, but not nearly fast enough to warrant retreat. The driver would have to be AFK to let you take the time to destroy it that way alone, because it'd take many refills on ammo to do it. The only real threat I posed was possibly planting C4 on it, but one charge (minigunners have only one) barely dents the armor, and the driver could just try to squash me. Needless to say, I was surprised when my numbskull charge actually worked. There were no friendlies behind me, either, so I know it wasn't another vehicle or anti-vehicle capable trooper scaring it away for me. Too bad that was the only time it ever worked, since this incident was so close to the release date it probably surprised the tanker that I was damaging the vehicle at all.

xD I do that a lot too. They never think to run me over..

One day I camped as Havoc in the Hand of Nod while our medium tanks were pounding it. I just kept sniping the engineers trying to fix it. By the end of the game, I had 91 kills...whoa.

When I did that, everyone was new to the game. I mean, a lot of people didn't even know the Tiberium fields were deadly and thought it was grass until they stepped into it and started dying. :P The last time I played, a while back, people were smarter than that. Short of being Sydney/Raveshaw, Mobius/Mendoza, or the rocket classes, tanks didn't back down, and even with those classes it was no guarantee. It's kind of funny watching a Havoc player skipping across the map with a tank hot on his heels.

I did something like that before. It's not that hard to camp against engineers/technicians with a Ramjet. Any basic infantry just stand almost no chance with their low health and underpowered main weapons. The unzoomed reticle makes it child's play, and there's no leading aside from lag compensation. Then again, most people don't know how powerful that little pistol really is in the right hands. I used to charge Ramjet snipers with the pistol (in the demo, mostly) firing away. If they didn't back off, they either got a lucky shot in at the last second or died of multiple head wounds from my pistoleering. ^_^ I say lucky because by this point they'd usually fire wildly and naturally miss most of their shots. Something about a sniper being shot while taking aim often unnerved all but the coolest heads.

I was playing COD4. I shot someone, and he died. :P
Another: I was playin RCT3. I used the person cam cheat. And just like that, BAM. An air-powered coaster slammed into me. That was it! I fired multiple coasters into that one... But... But... It wouldn't go down! So I deleted it.

Just remebered a story that I forgot about until Fluffy mentioned Call of Duty. Anyways, I was playing with some friends in my Model UN club. So, one of the people was sniping everyone. But he apparently forgot about me. So, I tracked him down on the radar, and saw him by a window with his back faced to me. I shot a few rounds off with my pistol (I was low on ammo). I surprised him, and went on a goose chase through the house and finally killed him. He apparently didn't see me since he asked me where I was when I shot him. :funny2:

That's one of the funnier things about most snipers. They almost never pay attention to their surroundings. In CoD4, I use Dead Silence with one of my classes to not alert the few that pay attention.

i have a few from Halo 1. My name was Spartan_051, and i made a Spartan clan, and was having a tryouts section. There were two guys approaching the base i was in, so i grabbed a shotgun. One walked in, and i ambushed him. The other one tried to attack with a nade, but i stepped outside and shot him. After several more similar experiences, he says "man, why don't you ever die?"

and i responded:

"Spartans never die"

(if you read the books, you'll see why this was so perfect)

another similar one i did was another tryout map on battle creek. I was caught in the base between two guys, one behind the other in front. As they ran toward me,i thought "spartans never die" in my head, and threw a grenade down at my feet, killing us all and giving me a double kill. I love emulating Kurt :D

Playing on Day of Defeat, I was sniping from a window then I decided to pop out the window, my mouse messed up flung my players look down. I randomly shot and no-scoped a guy to the head! I thought that was impossible, since the range was wide. He was so mad.

And in Halo 3, I aimed at an Elite with a sniper, and another guy came in front of the Elite in active Camo, I fired, *boom* both drop. I was like "Whoah, did I just do that?!"

Fallout 3: Strollin' around DC, found a bunch of super mutants on a bridge, nobody could shoot. I removed the bridge and watched super mutants fall down into their deaths =D (the ground, three times their height)

Day of Defeat: First time picking machine gunner, successfully camped those "pros" until they pleaded me to stop

L4D: Shot a hunter mid-jump, watched as he cleared the rest of the train with his ragdoll

So last night I was playing Left for Dead with Thire and two other guys I know.

Versus on No Mercy, we were against these, for a lack of a better word, slimy players that knew almost every single shortcut. So by the 4th part we were winning by at least 1000 points, and at the end of the elevator they placed the generator object so we could not move past it. At this point, I said a few things I was not proud of, and then decided to figure out a way past it- I was a beta-tester for about a year, I could do it :P

So we all came up with a plan, get the guy playing as Boomer towards the side of it. It worked after about a half-hour, and we went forward. A Smoker on their team had pushed a forklift into the way. At this point, something snapped in my head and when I next realized where I was I had apparently jumped over the forklift and killed all 4 special infected. We won that round with all 4 players.

Next, during the fifth round they once again stole my "Santa Claus" routine of being a Boomer on top of a ladder, and someone killed me with a Smoker for dragging me off of a building. Ironically, that lost them the game, because in my own words that were stolen from some old movie that no one here has probably ever seen, "If they strike me down I will become more powerful," and I did, because I could see the entire playing field from my friends in the "You are Dead" screen, and none of them died thanks to me. Final score: 4400 to 3600. They were not happy.

So you see, never, ever try to use cheap tricks like that on an ex-beta tester, they just don't work :P
