How many of you already play SWG, or are thinking about getting the 3 packs now that all the expansions are only $29 for everything, including the new ob1 ridable mount?

Although my current schedule doesnt allow for participation in SWG , i will be moving into it during the upcoming winter.. Nimlot is getting into it and there are the interest of about 20 others who want to put somthing together in there....it could be huge!

An imperial Clan, half crafters half everything else......we would truly PWN Star Wars!

I would buy and play SWG but the mothly fee is STEEP and I don't think it's worth playing...unless it was $5-$10 a month but $15...XD

Hey, what gives? There I was, on my way to see the Imperial Base Commander, and I figured I'd just ask him where to pick up my Stormie armour... when this Jedi dude steps out of the shadows, pulls mind trick on me, and -bam- I find myself in Mos Eisley hunting sewer rats to get by. How am I supposed to serve the Emperor like this???

saturn so what is your opinion so far? DO tell Do tell! I know nim is swaying from WOW to SWG thoughts....which is the best, and how....and is the fee to high for what ya get etc..?

SWG is a great game, I bought it during last holidays. There's just something spectacular about a game where you can be a fat midget wookiee...

meanwhile, as I'm new to this kind of game I'm looking for some quick start tips from anyone who knows the score. I've picked up the basics of combat, surveying (doing quite well there) and crafting (going for Engineer route to be our clan weaponsmith?) but post your best tricks and tips. Also if you know any good Galaxies websites (until we can get the GT-SWG up and running at least, lol)

Does anybody know if I accept the bonus BARC speeder in one galaxy, do I get another one in a different galaxy with a different character?

Ok, I've got one pic. It's my character (which is a wookiee), my swoop bike, and my Cu Pa, which is basically a red tauntaun from Tatooine.

As for the BARC question, I was wondering that myself. Check some Galaxies forums, maybe you'll find a solution there.

Really? I have my video option turned way down low in that picture since I have a rather...moderate graphics card. When you really have everything set up high, the quality can be amazing. I'll get another pic of space next (where I think it's the most fun).

o wait sry for the double post but this game does get seriously boring after a few weeks, there was also a recent combat upgrade that made ALOT of ppl leave the game so most servers barely have anyone in them
if anyone has questions i could prolly be able to answer since ive been playing for way over a year now

I've been heavily debating getting the game. From what I heard, it was a futuristic looking everquest after they did the combat upgrade. I did some betatesting when it was in development (early stages) and I got bored very easy. But that was loonnng before space combat. Lets see if I can be convenced into getting the game.

Just to make sure you know, I've read a lot that you really can't have a lot of fun in space until you get a lot of money from the ground game...
