I went through all the stuff I could find in the everything thread, but when I open the editor It says "could not read common.lvl" I hit ok. "could not read core.lvl" I hit ok. The editor starts to open then says it has encountered a problem and needs to close.
What did I do wrong?

he has the same problem i do.... i have to run on win vista because my mother board dosn't support win 2000
i did every thing on that post and.. it will stop working... .. i couldnt figure it out

How about the other particle effect solution in the FAQ (the one with 2007 in the title) does that also not work for you?

did that one... i get a popup and the thing stops working... it says test1 moduel stopped workings.... or somethinglike that

I found a solution, and I think it's pretty cool. I'd tell you how, but why not make it easier! Download
