yup, that's pretty much the way i see it. rogue squadrons 1 and 2 had great flying combat, the decision to include ground combat was stupid. especially considering the lack of thought and depth put into it. when we have whole games devoted to ground combat in star wars, there's no reason to add another, especially when its so shallow. if they had made it good, that might be another issue, but it sucked. or, if they had included a number of space maps similar to the number included in 1 or 2, and then added ground maps, i could have handled that (just wouldn't have to play them). the way i see it, it sorta ripped me off because there are only a few levels that are actually fun to play. if they make a rs4, and i hope they do, i also hope they go back to the tried and true fighter combat only. if they want to expand upon the ground combat, they should first make sure its actually fun, and they ought to start a new "wraith squadron" series. imo.

meh, ya, but you gotta admit, jango fett's slave 1 kicks butt....

If you want a really good star wars game, get Rebel Assault 2 for the computer. It's a kinda old game tho...

Off-topic : Indeed, Star Wars : Rebel Assault II may be considered as being a rather "old" LucasArts video-game, bit it can be easily bought through the numerous web-sites listed on a Google "Results Page" similar to this one...

I enjoyed Rogue Leader much more than Rebel Strike, and I also have kept it for the co-op.

So I just tried to play "Raid at Bakura" -- I was all excited because I got to play as the B-Wing. The sub-par radar system sucked, however and could never find the second transport after I lost it in a chase after some TIEs.

O forgot, Rebel Leader had the car, I really liked that car and either Rebel Strike got rid of it or downpowered it or something. :?

I hated Rebel Strike, but I still have it because of the awesome Co-Op Rogue Leader campaign.

Yeah I got rid of it. I picked up a 'great' that I used to have on PS2. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. It's not as good on Gamecube (graphics are a little worse) but it's still fun.

Ah, I have the PC version of that. Fun to use a racing wheel with.

I like rebel strike on the gamecube but the ground missions wreaked it and there isn't that much replay value. Like a freeply mode would be good on it.
