what can i say?
-my map has been running PERFECTLY so far until yesterday
-visual munge gets stuck on "ARC_conquest.pth"
-zeroeditor, when loading my map, gets half-way and then gives me a crash error
-i looked at "ARC_conquest.pth" in NotePad++ (i always use it) and all it said was "NULNULNULNULNULNULNULNULNULNULNULNUL..." you get the picture.
-i have already cleaned and remunged EVERYTHING
-i have already reinstalled the modtools twice

If your ARC_conquest.pth file looks like that in Notepad++ then there's no need to load your wld in ZE, and cleaning, munging and re-installing the modtools isn't going to help either because it sounds like your ARC_conquest.pth file is somehow corrupt.

Go to:
\BF2_ModTools\TEMPLATE\Worlds\@#$\world1\modes\conquest
and copy the @#$_conquest.PTH file to your world1 folder and rename it to ARC_conquest.PTH overwriting the original then try loading your wld in ZE and see what happens.

okay, i am putting that map off to the side for now
thanks for the advice
just wondering though, could i have a list of what each file extension in world1 is responsible for? it would really be cool in case i ever have something like this happen again
