How can i edit the backgrounds of the menus and the way the buttons and the HUD look.
for instance i want to have a diferent background in the mainmenu from like a black and white Slap together of some blueprints and the battlefront logo i want to have multiple pictures of the movie's or a wallpaper.
and freshen up the hud to make the things look more holographic like swbf 1. but having them in the same position jsut retextured.
so how would i do this:
- Change Menu Backgrounds
- Change Button looks
- Change Hud Textures
If anyone can help me out with this WITHOUT making it illigal to do i would be very happy.

Might be the shell. But after you compile something like that it's usually got a huge filesize.

If you just want to change the background images, copy the Shell folder from the assets and paste it into your custom map's folder. Edit the images you want to change, then munge shell. Look for the new created shell.lvl, then move it into the game's directory.

Can you change the interface for one specific map but not the rest of the game?

Yeah it's possible, but doing so requires a pretty in-depth knowledge of scripting.

Yes, but anything you change for your map overrides the game's settings. If someone changes their interfaces to add more features and a map has its own interfaces, the person would lose their new features when playing that map. However, deleteing the map's interface files would make it revert back to the default settings or crash the game (depending on how skilled the map maker was).

Just select Shell in VisualMunge, it worked for me, the new shell.lvl will be in LVL_PC but I think not in your ModID foldor in your Addon folder.
