Xbox 360 Games

I just recently got an Xbox 360 20 GB System that I earned off of Microsoft Live Search Club and I wanna know some good games for it around the price of $25. I already saved up for Project Gotham Racing 4 and Kameo: Elements of Power from Live Search Club and will be getting them soon. By the way if you haven't heard of Live Search Club its a cool website by Microsoft and you earn points by playing games and later redeeming them for prizes all for free. Definitely something to look into.

Anyway, I've downloaded a bunch of demos including Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Iron Man, Halo Wars, Lord of the Rings: Conquest, and a few more that I can't remember at the moment. I want to eventually get Star Wars: Battlefront II but the price is still $50 from the places I've been looking at. Plus I've already played every part of the game for PC so I think I'll wait until I get it at a good price if I do. Anyone know of a good place to buy cheap Xbox originals or Xbox 360 games or are they all the same price everywhere? And what are some really good games? I'm kinda new to Xbox 360 and any information on it would be great!

Orange Box?

Geometry Wars is an indie game, I believe, I got it from a friend for the PC and I'm pretty sure that's what he said.

Same friend also suggests Psychonauts. I haven't tried it, but he says it's really good.

Then there's Left 4 Dead, but that's $50.

Check out the community games section. I believe they let you try out the games for a bit before you buy them. Supposedly there are some fairly good games ones on there that aren't too expensive. Not publisher worthy but good indie games none the less.

Orange Box looks cool from the Game-Play but I've never played any of the Half-Life games or any similar games and my parents don't want me playing rated M+ games but I'll look into the other ones. Haven't got to look through the Community Games either but I'll check them out.

Bionic Commando Rearmed and Castle Crashers are both a lot of fun, and only cost 10$ each over Xbox Live. They're not short games either.

I don't own a 360, so take what I say with a grain of salt - but I have played the game Braid, which can be downloaded off of Live (right, 360'ers?). It's a "simple" platformer with a few ingenious tweaks thrown in - I enjoyed it a lot.

Never, ever. In fact, to be honest, Star Wars: Battlefront II was the first PC video game I owned and the only video games I owned before that was for my Nintendo 64 that I had 5 years ago and that's all. I'm really careful buying video games especially for PC because I'm not always sure whether they will run on my PC or not even with System Requirements scanner it says I can't even run SWBF2 with the minimal requirements! That's why I rely on demo's for the games that do have them.

Hey, there was a mini-game of Castle Crashers on the internet a while back (don't know if its still up though), it was fun to play. Bionic Commando looks cool on Xbox Live to bad there's not a demo.

I've never heard of it before but from the description it sounds fun. I looked it up on Xbox Live and there's a demo of it, I'll try it out.

Well, I think you could run Counter-Strike, cause the first version came out 1999, CS 1.6 came out later, but it uses the same engine so it would run too. However Im not sure if CS:Source would run.

So you could get the Half-Life anthology (HL, Blue Shift, Opposing Force) with Counter-Strike in it. Im sure Ive seen it somewhere. Those are all awesome games, especially CS :D

I meant he could get this games even though his PC is slow. And you could understand it by reading my post carefully.
I know it has nothing to do with Xbox, but I said that because he said that many games wont run on his PC.

You might wanna try Far Cry 2 or Mercenaries 2 if you like blowing crap up. Mercs 2 is 30 bucks.

Bionic Commando is absolutely 150% worth the 10 dollars. We had a game night last weekend and played through the cooperative campaign then played deathmatch for an hour. Great stuff.

Quick, someone call Capcom; Teancum's willing to pay an extra $5 for the game!

Pretty sure they mean Bionic Commando Rearmed, a remake of the original with better graphics.

EDIT: Tean beat me to it. :|
