How do i add more playable units?

hey, i am new to modding and need help. I want to make a cool naboo map with gungans, geonosians, and wampas. how can i add these into the playable units. i am very new but i know what the lua is and i know it has something to do with it. can you give me a step by step process to add these charactors to the list? thanks

If you aren't actually editing the Gungans, Geonosians, and Wampas then you can just load them from the retail side lvls then add them to SetupTeams in the mission LUA via AddUnitClass.
This should take only a minute or two and is achieved through a single file.
