Texturing issue
I'm having troubles texturing my objects, because the skin stretches itself too far. How would I correct this?

lol, Ya but lets say you use only a cubic projection with something that has a lot angles and bend etc. and you try to move the cordinates then you Definetly will get strectching, thats all I meant.JabbaLovesLava wrote:Actually that's not necessarily true. I've used 1 rojection for 1 mesh and I didnt get no streching.

I'm using Robert Hoffman's "beginning XSI" tutorial, and in it he says to create a polymesh of all the objects combined and skin those with a single 512x512 targa and applying it through the texture editor (alt 7). So, if i texture each object individually, how can i still reduce the polycount and how would the odf look with those extra texture files?

Your ODF doesn't have anything to do with textures.Koolaid7g wrote:I'm using Robert Hoffman's "beginning XSI" tutorial, and in it he says to create a polymesh of all the objects combined and skin those with a single 512x512 targa and applying it through the texture editor (alt 7). I would sugjest following Bandu's tutorial, it might solve all your problems and help you understand it better.
