Question about deleted posts

Hey,
I keep getting posts deleted like last night I had 530, now I have lost some. Instead of just deleted them, can't you atleast tell me why you did?
So I know what I did...

Off-topic and Star Wars General threads are deleted after 30 days of inactivity to save server space. If you have a lot there, you'll take a hit.
Post counts don't matter, either.

Hmmmm ohk. I'm trying to think what thread it was. I've never posted 15 posts in one topic...

I lost at least 70 posts last night, too, yet I had few posts in off-topic or SW general.

If they don't matter than why do people get awesome symbols ('jedi knight') after a certain amount of posts? The posts shouldn't disappear.

With post count doesn't matter we mean that no on eis judging you because of your post count.
It's not like no one listen to your advices just because you have beneath 100 posts or something.
But if you really like to have your posts at the level you have really posted, then maybe you should provide a server with enough space/capacity to have all topics open.

i resynced the actual amount of posts all users have that still exist. the numbers of topics shown were off by 1000s now the db is working properly, with correct info. If you want your old post #s back simply send an email to '
[email protected] '

Who became a Mod first, you or Mav?
Also, is it just me or is you avatar gone? And just wondering, what the heck is a Teancum?

Tean's been staff a lot longer than I; you can see that he joined a full year before I did.

The way of a jedi is to take? For me it is a state of being not a symbol next to your avatar.

But he wasn't necessarily staff first.
And that's quite cool.

a small mathexercise:
teancum has been here for 5 years.
maveritchell 4 years.
teancum has been staff for 95% of the time
did teancum become staff before maveritchell did and if he did, for how many years atleast?
solution
