Good News Everyone!


I found out Mount and Blade has the same model scale as SW Battlefront! EDIT: scale it up by 1.12
So porting files is ridiculously easy! The only additional program you need is OpenBRF!
A whole new source of resources unlocked!

All the models have a normal and specular map applied! They are higher poly - the models for M&B are usually made to a higher standard.

I have converted the following models released by modders at Taleworlds Open Source project subforum.

Zweihander - narf, claymore 883
Oxtounge Spear and B*stard Sword - Lucas
Flintlocks - Llew
Viking Shield -Gothic Knight
Teutonic Heater Shield and Kite Shield - Kovas

All tested ingame.

Have the authors of these art assets specifically allowed the use of their work in other games?

Yes. They just ask for credit. Quote from the open source project subforum "The Open Source Project is a collaboration of models for Mount&Blade mod makers, free for all to use".

EDIT: another quote "All items in OSP packs are free for anyone to use without permission, as long as credit is given to the original creator of the item!".
