Here is a short Teaser for my New Tatooine map for the Ultimate Battlefront Mod. It's not the Final version yet. Extra vehicles will be added and probably we'll put in some custom classes, so any feedback is welcome:) .

btw: why are there so few trailers of maps?

Very nice looking map, Dreadnought. *Applauds*
I liked the huge spines in the desert - did you model them yourself?
Keep up the great work. 8)

I would like to create a trailer of my own map when it is near completion but I have no idea what program I should use to capture the screen into a movie format. Is Moviemaker capable of that? Perhaps I'll do a search on google to find out later, but I would gladly take any recommendations.

The spires come from the original Star Wars Battlefront Modding tools(Tatooine Dune Sea). And for the programs you need for a teaser, a capturing tool, and something to put the footage together, like fraps for capturing(you can get a free trial at their site) and Windows Movie maker(usually is included in Windows XP) for putting together the footage

I guess I'm a little different. I suppose I just don't know quicktime or whatever people use, but it would take me 3-5 hours to make a decent trailer, and that's time I would rather spend editing.

Still, it's a great trailer nonetheless. :D

If you've time, add the species that live in Tatooine.

I could imagine Jawas, Gamorreans Guards, and Tusken roaming around.

Reminds me of Mos Eisley and Beggar's canyon level from SOTE (Shadows Of The Empire)

personally, i prefer screenshots to trailers. trailers take to long to download for something that you have no idea how its gonna turn out to be (at least imo).

The trailer reminds me of the outpost on the training level for Rogue Squadron II and III, very nice :D

I'm gonna put Teancum's and Dread's opinons together :P I don't really have time to make movies and the trial for Fraps only lets you take 30 second vids, and screenshots can give you a lot more detail and are easier to view for the people in a hurry or with slow internet/computer.

Good trailer though :D

Cool map! Is it going to be kind of like Dune Sea and Mos Eisley wrapped into one convinient package?
