Hey GT,
It seems I can't find anything about how to rename my new era(t) and create a new icon for it, can anyone tell me?

Have you tried looking through the localise tools for the stock era localisations? If you can find them and how they're set out, it should be fairly simple for you to rename your era. Another way might be to use Zerteds way to change mode names and icons for your era instead. Would that work? Its worth a try anyway.

At the end of the post he mantions that he got it working for eras too so that should help.

That didn't helped a lot, can anyone that has already done what I would like to do wrote here how to do that please?

for the era part look at devs addme and how he renames his eras it works great for me (obviously you need to change his era letters and modes to use your) i hope this helps

Can't help you with the scripting... Let me take an educated guess, judging by your era letter... I hope you have better luck than my (rushed) attempt!
