edit: how do you change the color of the vista taskbar, anyone find a way? also, my taskbar is not transparent like this one although it is the windows aero theme (id prefer if someone who either has/knows about vista would answer, i know how to do it on XP but vista is way different. tnx)

Yes, I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.5. Using parallels desktop so I can use xfire

Spent the last 2 hours customizing mah desktop. It's RocketDock and the Royale Noir theme. Yays!

Right click the desktop>Personalize>Window color and appearance

or

Control Panel>Personalize>Window color and appearance

I know it says "window", but your taskbar's color is tied to this. As far as I know, Windows has always tied them together.


Btw, if I'm reading this right, your taskbar is transparent. It's just hard to see with that background, because aero tends to blur the image, and the dark colors tend to blend with the graphite color setting. I use the same setting, but my background contrasts well in certain areas.

Hackintosh, but, I reformatted to vista last night. I screwed up my install plus I get better driver support on windows >.>
