Someone should contact Marth or someone from Frayed Wires Studios to use these to make a new version of Evolved. I mean,wouldn't it be cool to have the BF3 units in BF2?

So,I decided to make a mod map and would like to ask. How does one convert these models so we can add them in a map?

Has anyone converted the stormtrooper model to msh for bf2?

Not sure why you'd want to. It's not exactly accurate.

I can't see the preview image anymore, but I thougth that it was better than the stock one.

It IS better than stock. I'm interested in the stormtrooper, too.

I am interested on how to convert them. I saw one converted model but the link was broken (posted in the pre-existing asset thread).

What programs do I need? XSI?

You need XSI. Import the model, remove the blaster, import an stock trooper, remove the trooper, take the skeleton, envelope the model, export with Ande's ZETools.

now you know the steps, browse the 3d FAQ and find out, how to do so. Next you actually do it, and then you'll be my hero

After a ''chat'' with El_Fabricio,I will not be converting these models. Thought it was easier than what he said.

Hey guys i'm back at it again i'll be doing a lot more models very soon.

But for now here is what the IFTX for the Empire looks like, once i get the main turret converted i'll release it.

Originally when i posted sometime ago about the clonetrooper on facepunch i said it was the one from TFU files but with it's marking removed,i was going off of just viewing the model ingame cause i couldn't view the model any place else but looking it it now it's not.
Also the clonetrooper file has the Ep3 clone pilot in it.
