OK, I installed it and played it, and I gotta say, it's freaking awesome. One thing: for the CW Hero Assaults (the Old Republic themed ones), on the shipped maps, the heal rate is ridiculously slow, especially when standing next to the health droids (I tested against the GCW Hero Assault. At BEST, the heal rate for CW is HALF what it is for GCW). Now, I don't know whose arena this falls into, but I figured, since I tested it on a shipped map, I'd put it in here.

I use the fake console/free cam a lot. I mean a lot. Very much. You get the point.
But I really like the 1.2 patch.
Maybe, if you have the time and patience, RepSharpshooter, you could work with Zerted and make a 1.2 Patch with the Fake Console and Free cam mode, because I think I speak for everyone when I say, I don't want to have to keep switching from the 1.2 patch and free cam/fake console everytime we want to use a different feature.
It would be to my knowledge perfectly possible because they affect different parts of ingame.lvl. It is not like the 1.2 patch and fake console/free cam would "disagree" on things.
The fake console/free cam do not affect the rest of the files that 1.2 changes.
But then again, i am not familiar with the inner working of SWBFII enough to know if this is possible.

I asked yesterday Rep on X-fire nearly the same.He told me that he will add a ingame.lvl with Fake Console.(Edwinator) wrote:I use the fake console/free cam a lot. I mean a lot. Very much. You get the point.

btw:
You can use zerted`s present ingame.lvl in this Patch but you have permanent an Weapon Icon left to the Unit.Im not sure which stuff is gone but it works so far.

That has nothing to do with this mod, it only changes the shipped sides, not old republic and conversion pack added content.

But were the custom modes put on the shipped maps in the conversion pack? I though Teancum said he wasn't touching the shipped maps. That's why I thought it was in this patch.Caleb1117 wrote:Molokai wrote:OK, I installed it and played it, and I gotta say, it's freaking awesome. There are also lots of other modes on most shipped maps like Holocron, Team Deathmatch, Order 66, and Uber. If you want more download 123 mod http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/123;85102

the rifle texture of the rebel rifle in first person view is extremely dark on some maps such as jabba, maybe you can change that in the next version

It has to do with the lighting on that map not the rifle.

Could you release a version without the new HUD? Other than the HUD it's great

HUD Suggestions:
I really think the HUD looks weird, it feels more like a huge scoreboard then a battlefield utility, I think its the blue parts, it looks impractical. I have another random suggestion, How bout making it so that the HUD looks round, like in H3? I think that would be a nice touch.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, is it possible to add blaster scorching as well?

I thought of this the other day, can Trainmaster's laser textures be implemented?

Just replace the ingame.lvl with Zerted's ingame.lvl (or even the shipped one). That way you can run the patch but use the original HUD (if that's what you're wanting)

The hud, you either love it or hate it. Would simply making it more transparent work?
Perhaps I'll experiment with a Black and white hud that mimics the other battlefront graphics.

Well, I like the HUD. In my opinion it's a huge improvement over the default one. I especially like the new Republic marine
