Well, a bit of background on the thread:
It all started with the release of a map called Reytha, which used a few illegal assets. I didn't know this at the time, but anyway - I thought that Pandemic's models were not too great, and there were few decent models available publicly. So, I came up with the idea of JKA conversions. A few people had mentioned this before, but nothing too serious. I found a method which I thought would work (it didn't, though) and it gained people's attention. AceMastermind had simultaneously found out a method, and posted it in the thread. It worked. Soon, everyone was finding JKA models on Filefront and posting them in the thread. A few people converted some, and I have four weapon models sitting on my desktop as a result. They're cool. Then, Darth_Z13 took it upon himself to take PM requests for conversions. So everyone started PMing him (I'm surprised his head didn't explode, really) their models, and no longer posting them on the thread. A legalities argument kept it alive for a little while, so when it died down, no more posting. And that is the story of the JKA thread.

Pandemic's models are great its just that they didnt really focused on canon. Oh yeah Darth_Z13, do you still have the list of things i asked you to convert so long ago?

I do have the list but I didn't convert them. I heard somewhere on GT that Halo mods weren't allowed.

thanks for the info Arc Commander. btw i visit a lot of mod pages for diferent games and for what i know. its illegal to convert models from a game to another one. except if its a community model. so if you take a model from Jediknight2.filefront.com its 100% legal. and if its not. 90% of the mods on internet are illegal.. lol
i've seen several mods for games (free games or not) with X-Wing Alliance Upgrade mod Models. so you know..

Ah well, back to business.
So when you say one release per week, does it mean one model per week, or will you sometimes release several models at a time?
Because 14 weeks is a loooong time.

was my original plan but I think now I'm going to release them as I can.
-OFF TOPIC- I heard somewhere that contacting NeoMarz is near impossible and he has given permission to the SWBF2 community to convert his models. Is that true? If it is, two more models will be immediately released.

Yes he did. I've got both in .XSI, ready to be converted, if what I heard is true.

I can confirm that, but he is to be credited obviously.

Yea, he got in a temper about the whole JKA thing, He got into a fight with Tean and some others, and has since left.
Atleast his site is still accesable.

Cool can't wait for the models.
As a side note, I suggest you fix the left hand of whatever charaacter you convert cause I noticed on the Republic Commando model his hand does not hold the barrel correctly in the rifle animations. His hand is upright like there is a verticle foregrip on the gun.
As for fred, yeah, I saw that thread and its why he left. Shame is though he deleted a bunch of his posts, so some useful info was lost. He also denied access to his site for a short time too, but he let everyone back in.

Walkers are really, really hard. Only psych0fred has been able to do a new one (they require a lot of special tricks). Minilogoguy and I tried for a long time to get his ATPT working. No luck. There's a special heirarchy and a bunch of other junk that we thought we had right but obviously didn't.

He did that one too. But that one was just enveloped to to the AT-ST's skeleton since they are exactly the same size. We tried enveloping the ATPT to a different skeleton, but nothing that was in-game fit it.
