HAHA Just kidding, you silly penguin! Jedi makes more sense.
hey WULFMAN, seems like you agreed with the rest of us, doesn't it?
It doesn't matter if I did or not. I'm just letting Delta do as he sees fit without my tiny complaints. If he wants Saber Droids then let him have them. Perhaps a different model and/or skin, but that's for another time.

I wasn't complaining, I was just stating my opinion. Of course he doesn't have to change a thing, it's
his mod, but we should be able to make comments without it being labelled as a complaint.
Mod still looks ace though.

I take this as personal offence and I don't really care about other opinions, I do decide what I put on my mod.

As requested, end discussion, stay on target, I mean topic.

It didn't go in, it just impacted on the surface!
.....
>_< Sorry. Star Wars quotes out in the open kind of bring me in to do that sort of thing.
As for the Xerxes comment about the commando, I think the commando reminds me more of Kratos...guess it's the red (and I had never even played a God of War game). But I like the commando regardless of the comparisons! I can say I am looking forward to whatever else is in store, Delta!

Your message has no sense

Do you mean you would like to get a download link? If yes then a beta version of the mod was already
released.

I am fairly curious, will the assets for this mod be released? I would love to use the Republic troopers in my map pack...

I think you'd probably need to PM Delta, I know earlier in this thread there were pics to show that Delta had added his mod to some other modders maps, so maybe if you have your pack done in time (or at least a couple of maps) you could coordinate to release it at the same time. I know Delta said he wasn't making any maps specific for this mod, so that might be a nice tie-in. Just a thought!

Welcome to Gametoast. In the future, it would be courteous of you to not ask for updates in any WIP thread in general. Rather, the author of the WIP will post updates if he or she has any and/or wants to.
Also, if English is indeed not your first language, then that is no excuse to confuse the Arabic numeral 2 with the preposition to or vice versa.

First, I LOVE playing this mod. Hands down, the single best playing experience I've had with SWB2.
For the majority of the classes, the "pacing" is pitch perfect. What I mean by that is the rhythm that one can develop as a tactical meme. The Sith Empire's bounty hunter class is a perfect example of what I mean. One can run till exhaustion, fire up one's jetpack, land, roast some targets with the wrist-mounted flamethrower, and then jetpack to a new location to do it all over again, seamlessly. Only a handful of major titles ever reached this level of "pacing perfection" with their classes, and here you've done it with nearly every one.
Wow! Quite an accomplishment to be proud of! And I thank you deeply for sharing it with us.
That said, I do have some concerns with some of the images that I've seen here. I've noticed some sensitivity in regards to this, and I want to say up front that what I'm stating here is not intended to bruise anyone in any way. I've contributed to many mods for nearly 10 years now, so please keep that in mind.
What are my concerns?
First, including a SBD as a lightsaber-user. You've done some amazing skins, but the SBD's mesh is just too distinct, and I can see it pulling me out of the experience. Considering how tremendously immersive the first release was, to lose that...
I've read comments that bemoan a non-hero lightsaber-user, but I'm perfectly fine with the concept. Perhaps you could include another non-hero Sith lord class so that visually they still outnumber the Jedi two-to-one.
If one wants a droid using a lightsaber, then please consider a mesh who's appearance is less cemented into the Prequel era.
Also, altering the commando's skin to yellow... It's a color selection that is very challenging to pull off, and the latest screenshots that I saw left me wanting something more. Why not go with a more colorful scheme, something that emulates the Mandalorian armor? Bold patterns could be painted that amplifies that unit's powerful appearance. That said, I'd be perfectly happy with the skin that's already available in the first release, as it was that good.
In any case, I'm really looking foward to trying your next release. Thank you for a masterful first one.

Thank you!
Delta, just shoot us a PM if you need the topic unlocked.

Hey guys, thanks to AQT this topic is unlocked again to tell you guys that this mod is still in WIP.
After a lot of hard work (I've restarted the whole mod from scratch 3 times..) everything is working and every stock map has his TOR era. I think this summer in july I will have released the v 1.0.
Here you have some random pics.

I really love how this
feels like TOR, if you know why I mean.

Wow, it looks great! It's pretty amazing that you got past all those roadblocks. Will you release the LUA and addme files once the mod is done, so people can add compatibility to their maps?

I must say, you have a lot to be proud of here. It looks really, really nice. Sucks you had to restart it 3 times, but clearly you wanted it to come out, and it seems like it was worth the time.
Excited to play V.1
