Jamnica: Toxity

Hello together,

this is my first map called "Jamnica: Toxity".

A little story:

"The droid army invaded the jungle planet Jamnica. Under the toxic sky of the capital Toxity
intiates a desperate battle between the CIS and the Republic."

Sides
Most of the soldiers uses the normal weapons.
Exception : The heroes.

Republic:

Ray Dash (uses Qui-Gons model)
-Violet Lightsabre
-Saber Throw
-Force Push
-Meteor Calldown

CIS:

Darth Crudelis (uses a model from the same pack like Qui-Gon; see readme)
-Darthmauls Lightsaber
-Saber Throw
-Force Lightning
-Force Choke
-Force Flamethrower

There is the assassine clone from Arman/Penguin, too.
Sides are ready to 90 %.

World:

The world is like a mix from Felucia and Naboo. There isn´t much more to say :wink:
World is ready to 80 %.

I have to say I like that mix of planets.
It seems like you need to alpha some parts of the felucian plant leaf texture, you can see a shape around them (last pic).

The sides are lookin' nice too, I am looking forward to try this one. :thumbs:

Try putting these line under "[Properties]"

AnimationBank = ""

InstantPlayFireAnim = 1

OffhandWeapon = 1

Wherever it's posted doesn't make it any less right; change what he said and you'll fix your problem. It's perfectly reasonable to post an easy solution to an obvious problem in a WIP topic.

Looks like a good map, Coley! I like the idea of mixing Naboo and Felucia assets but having said that, some areas of the map (paticularly in the lower pictures) look a bit bland with just that same old Felucia texture. You could always add some foilage to the map or you could alter the terrain texture a bit to give it some difference. Just some ideas there. Oh, you could also make the lighting a tad darker, but that's just an opinion too.

Other than that, looks cool! Are you going to release a public beta or a closed beta?

To me, it looks as if you just took the original Theed map, added in some green fog and a new sky, added new sides, and placed some trees in the streets. I didn't expect it to literally be a mix of Naboo and Felucia.
