What's going to be tricky is using the nunchucks at the same time.The_Emperor wrote:Now I'll have learn to use two Wii-motes at the same time, one in each hand.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Don't need nunchucks for brawl, but I guess I could always use my feet if I train my big toes in accuracy.

That's a GREAT idea! Donations for a real gun starting now.Super_Shadowman wrote:So? At least you'll be the safest gamer in the world, maybe apart from someone with a real gun attached to a Zapper.The_Emperor wrote:Using that shield + mastersword is asking for stuff to get smashed

Smash Update December 18th Tuesday:
Frigate Orpheon
This appears in Metroid Prime. It’s the first spaceship Samus infiltrates.

What you see in the background is the Parasite Queen.

Th-the power went out?!
For a spaceship that just causes trouble, it sure does have a lot of problems.
But what really defines this stage is the way it rotates 180 degrees.

The siren scream is a warning!

Suddenly, it flips...

The terrain inverts!
When the siren goes off, jump into the air to flee.
But when you’re in a pinch, so is your opponent. Stall your opponent to take advantage!
----------
Looks pretty nice =D, somewhat like the Brinstar Depths stage from Melee, only this one rotates 180 degrees while the Depths stage... Well, I dont have the game ATM(friend borrowing it for a long time now) so I dont remember how the Depths stage moved, but I know it rotated every once in a while.
Also, we've got Mother music, but I can't put the music file here, so I'll just put the text:
-----
"Mother: Porky’s Theme" (1:24)
Porky, the incarnation of egotism. The grand metropolis he created is a towering pinnacle of imagination.
When Porky’s private army, the Pigmasks, appears, the song that often plays is this one! It’s one of the songs representative of Mother 3.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Considering how high in demand Wii's still are, and the fact that Guitar Hero III for the Wii is almost impossible to come by (I'm not sure what Super Mario Galaxies' status is though) do you guys think that pre-ordering this may or may not be necessary? I gotta have my Smash as soon as it comes out, and if I have to wait or go from store to store I'll go insane.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Let me put that pre-order question in this perspective.
Halo 3 is to Xbox 360 as SSBB is to Wii.
SSBB will be so high of a demand i wouldn't surprised if sales come out and SSBB is pushing the Wii to near improbable chances on buying a Wii.
Fingerfood. It's Feb 10th. 08.

Did you suffer through Zelda Twilight Princess???
I preordered it like 10 times and they kept on changing it!
I will probably preorder it sometime early January.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Actually no. I respect the franchise, but i rarely play the series.
But you had to of see the delays coming. The Smash series isn't known for delays up until now.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Lol, I think I'm the only one who's actually OK with the delaying here
And I don't usually have to preorder to be sure to get a game, alot of game stores here and they are never sold out for a game, not even Super Mario Galaxy was sold out here, so I think I'm OK, and again, I don't live in America where stores sell out so quick
Today's Update:
Team Healer

This item has absolutely no relevance for those who normally just play free-for-all brawls. But not knowing how to use the item would be problematic, so I’ll just explain it.

You might be able to imagine what it is from its name...
Before I get ahead of myself, I must explain that this game features a Team Battle mode.
For example, this function allows people to break into teams of two and do battle when four people are playing.

There are three team colors: red, green and blue.
And the Team Healer has absolutely no function if you’re on your own.

If you pick it up, you just hold it. It doesn’t do anything.

But, if you throw it at your ally...

Your ally’s damage meter gets replenished!
The higher your damage meter, the more you recover.
But, if you don’t alert each other, you may not hit your teammate.

And occasionally, it may cause an opponent to recover damage instead.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
I've never pre-ordered a game in my life, mostly because I've never really had to but I'm not sure I wanna take any chances with Brawl. It might depend on whether or not there are still any Super Mario Galaxies around here.
PS: I like Zelda's red-team outfit.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Todays update is pretty sweet!
All the Kirby hats!
The names above them are put in by me, just for those who are unsure.
Dec. 20 Thu. 2007
Kirby: Special Moves
The move that symbolizes Kirby is none other than his standard special move, Inhale!
He’s able to copy an enemy’s ability (by which I mean, their standard special move) and use it as his own.

When he inhales a foe and swallows...

He copies his opponent’s ability!
So... Which look belongs to which character?
Wario Hat:

Peach Hat:

Link Hat:

King Dedede Hat:

Diddy Kong Hat:

Zero Suit Samus Hat:

Yoshi Hat:

Zelda Hat:

Donkey Kong Hat:

Squirtle Hat:

Pikachu Hat:

Samus Hat:

Fox Hat:

Bowser Hat:

Meta Knight Hat:

Pit Hat:

Snake Hat:

XD, seriousely laughed so hard when I saw that Snake Hat!

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Judging from those pictures it appears that Diddy's special B move involves banana peels and King DeDeDe's special B move is also Inhale. I was wondering how they'd tackle Kirby's Meta Knight and Squirtle hats. Hm... Do you think he can still inhale Ivysaur and Charizard?

Since the website movies load kinda slow, here's a gametrailers link:

Looks like Bowser is working with the Subspace Army as well.
