Flying vehicles to Ground.

I'm making a new map - "The wicked end" - thus far it's going well, however, a friend of mine [as well as one of my testers] informed me a section of the map would be better with flying vehicles. I tried, and failed, to add flying vehicles to my maps. I'm wondering if anyone can inform me about adding them, how to do so. I looked in search, to no results. I do know how to add regular vehicles, but the flying vehicles never seem to register in when I launch the map for testing.
