It's good, but without dirt, grime, wear and tear, it doesn't feel like Star Wars. So I hope you'll come back to it eventually.

Futuristic rocket launcher. For my upcoming wintry map: Earth: Apocalypse.
The front needs a little bit more work texture wise so do a few edges but model wise its done. 1026 tris.
yes its suposed to be box like. It was based of
THIS And will be called the M707 FLASH ingame. 2-3 hit anti tank weapon.
EDIT: Testing ingame it looked GREAT. first person view is messed up, but otherwise its a win. No extra texture work required.

I think that instead of having the specular highlights burned into the diffuse texture, you should just use a specular map (and probably bump/normal map as well). Almost always looks 1,000 times better.

I can try and do that, sure.
EDIT: IM on a role! cant stop me! UMP-45! Just needs a texture.

the holes were especially hard to make (blue lines) so lets see how this textures.

Oooooozi nine milla-META?
But seriously, it's getting there. Definitely needs a LOT more depth in the detail on the sides, though, specifically where the magazine and butt are.

The sides seem rather flat. I'm not sure if that's what you're going for, but even on boxy guns they're rarely that flat.

I will add more detail to the sides and generaly round it out a bit more. I will also add more detail to the handle and magazine.
EDIT: I editted the stock/butt to put an indent in the back. The magazine also has more detail. the front underneath has been rounded out more, along with more holes in the front too. The front is also no longer completely flat, has that thing you pull back when you first load the gun, see last screen. here are 4 screenshots:

Looks great! Is this what you needed those metal textures for?

Edge flow is a total mess, it can really benefit from being cleaned up, would also make UV mapping a lot easier.

I agree edge flow is a total disaster. I will clean that up and post again!
