I've seen it too, though, and they come from beyond the area where it tells you you're going the wrong way (right before you blow up.) I saw it most prominently during the team dogfight matches from the SWBF1 conversion pack.

hmm i wonder how i can use that to my advantage, the battle cruisers of the jedi civil war era had NO hangars and i really want to keep it that way since if you put a fighter up to it to scale there really is no room for one.

so in short just to summarize; Today's plan is..?

i want players and npcs to spawn in fighters, none of the kotor ships have hangars and id have the scale the cruisers up just to make room for even a small one.

This is how to do it. I would recommend spawning people into a black hole (can't see anything, no floor to drop mines on, no nearby walls to kill yourself from splash damage), so if there is a short delay from spawning and being forced into a vehicle, the players won't notice anything and to make sure nothing randomly happens to them.

The code for the forced vehicle entry was posted here long ago. Search around for it.
