The problem is.. its not realistic anymore.. because i wont call it "Shake" anymore.. id call it.. messing up youre screen.. Its like youre screen is aimbot spinning from counter strike :P Anyways, Syth! Please do fix or just make it last 2 seconds! thank you!

I redid some of the first page (with some new screens)

I dont know how ARC commander is having BFX installed and i dont know how he got localizaion working.. something with readme or whatever
anyways not concerned with localizing right now.. but i plan on implementing localizing in the final release.

Good news.. i have figured out Custom Animations for weapons!!
The ODF code hadnt ever been used, but with psych0freds sight info i got it working with the knife weapon (which uses upper jab from Emperors 1st attack and L5R's knife model)

Just in case anyone wants to know how it works,

Working Example:
CustomAnimationBank = "knife pistol"

Syntax:
CustomAnimationBank="[<character>_]<weapon> <parent> [alert|noalert]"

[]'s indicate something that isnt needed. So having "whatevername_knife" or specifying alert or noalert are just options.
"knife" is a your new anim set (just like "pistol" or "rifle") except it only uses the new anims. For example, mine only has 2 - knife_crouch_shoot and knife_stand_shoot
The second part "pistol" indicates the parent anim set, so everything my knife anim set is missing it will get from the pistol animations.

Heres the ANIMS file my recon unit that uses the knife has

Also remember that since its a new anim set, youll need to make sure the unit that has the weapon with the new animations also has AnimationName = "whatever-name-you-named-your-new-anim-set" in there ODF

I just noticed on Moddb, my mod is 7th place of 4,384. :faint: Thats even over First Strike.. probably wont last long though.

Its cool that you love the mod but cummon...

Thats a little harsh on Arc_commander dont you think? These mods are different so they should not be compared. And if they do get compared, keep it to yourself.

:bowdown: This mod is gonna be so (censored) COOL! I can't wait until I buy SWBF2 for the pc, i already have it for ps2 and I cant put mods on that, so, once i get the pc vversion of SWBF, this is the first thing I will download.

I've read on ModDB the final version will be released before october...
