Collision/Lowrez problems

Post by Galactic_Marine »

I am having a problem with my lowrez and collision meshes for a model. Although I only have the modtool, I generally ask a friend with the full version to help me export into msh format. When I export into .xsi format, it works fine. But when somebody else tries to export it into msh format, the collison and lowrez geometries are skewed, and scaled down really small. I've tried freezing the whole tree, individual freezing, and freeze modeling, but nothing is working.

export you model as and .obj first then bring it back into .xsi then export. I found I had the same problem when I was using curves to shape an object then use the pandemic export. even if I freezed, but if I branch select it the export it as an .obj, and bring it back it collapses all th heriecies of the model.

the model is skewed because the transforms are messed up, you need to freeze the transforms and then freeze the geometry.
