Vehicle for 3rd Faction

One thing that has perplexed me over the course of my modding career is adding vehicles to 3rd factions.

Is there something special that needs to be done? I really want my Tre Adun guards to have a tank to level the playing field a little on Mont Adur.

Maybe there is an article out there...I couldn't find it.

Any thoughts...

In each units odf (at least ones on the used for the 3rd side) there's a line

NoEnterVehicles = 0/1

0 means they can get in vehicles
1 means they can't

I've been looking through odf's and I just can't seem to find that line...I've look at both units and vehicles...

Look in the 3rd team inf odfs. For instance geo_inf_geonosian.odf --- just open it in wordpad and search for 'vehicle'. Units that are playable won't have it.

Excellent I found it...thank you so much...next question...

1)Can this NoEnterVehicles line be added to other inf odf's?

2)How can I get vehicles to spawn for my 3rd faction? Do their odf's need to be changed?

GusteR, maybe you should study "Naboo : Theed" map's *.LUA files, and open its *.WLD file into ZeroEditor to see how third factions can get their own vehicles on the battle-field...

Should the 3 faction's odf's/msh etc be a part of the vehicle's SIDE?

Is there anything that should be done to the req?
