Ha haaaaaaa! Sweet Rends! Somehow I knew you'd be the first one to convert your maps.

What are the tweaks you're finding that need to be done? Is it on the ships?

Hey Rends, did you rename the file names in the world1 folder of your map to get it working?
Example) Renaming SWBF I assets to coordinate with the new map? .BND and .BAR files?

Here is what i´ve done so far.
Keep in mind that there is still lot of things todo like adding layers for conquest, ctf ... and no sides yet.
1.Create a new map
2.copy the odf and msh folder from your SWBF1 map into the worlds/modid directory.
3. copy the world1 content from the old map into the new world1 folder.
4. Run Zeroeditor and open the old SWBF1 .wld file you find in the world1 folder
5. Save the map by using the new wld file (overwrite it)
6. Munge
done for now.
You will notice that the mung add another 4 CPs to the conquest mode. This need to be fixed later in the layers.
But it works.

Hmm... very interesting, Rends. This should help us modders out, being able to convert our old maps to BFII. Nice job. As for the map, still looks like you need to add that minimap in there, but besides that, it looks good to go. Aside from those extra four CPs, of course... couldn't you just delete the ones you got on there, and move the four magic CPs down in their place?

The whole game mode thing is confusing for me so I just made my convert for conquest only. I tried your steps Rends but in zeroedit everything except the turrets and power-up droids was black. Did this happen to you?

After you overwrote the new .wld file, open it and everything will be normal.

I was working on Citadel, but i'm having a tough time with it. For some reason it didn't something, so now everything is black.

Okay, I got Methlyn working. The only problem is that the foilage doesn't show up, there are extra CP's (I can't get rid of them because for some reason I can't change layers when I load the level), and the sky is black. Anyone know how to fix all of these problems?

could be the ambient color!
p.s- i was trying to get cloud city working, keeps crashing though. Might be the CP thing.

After some studying, I think I finally,
finally found a way to edit the layers. It's actually very simple, which is surprising, since I was sitting around dumbfounded as to why I couldn't change the Diet Dr. Pepper layers at all.
Basically, up at the top of the screen is a little section that's labelled "Active Layers". There's a little button that says "Change". Click that.
Then, a little window pops up and asks you which layer you'd like to switch to. In this case, I picked CTF mode. Once you select what mode you want, close the little window.
And then, finally, select the CPs or whatever and move or rotate it wherever you want.
*Note: Unfortunately, I haven't had time to test this out. I've only tried CTF mode so far, but it looks like it works. I haven't tried any of the other modes, so I don't know if it works for sure.
Also, don't be mad at me if you guys already knew this; I only just found out about it. >.<

I mainly did it as a test. I originally meant for it to be Cloud City, but I guess I got Bes1 and Bes2 mixed up and got Platforms instead... well, when I went to change it to Cloud City, the whole thing went to hell, so I had to delete it. But still, Teancum's making a Bespin Platforms map, so I'm sure you'll get it eventually.
