My getting started modding tutorial (Fierfek's BF2 Mapping and Modding Tutorial). Check it out on swbattlefront files if you haven't seen it before.

It's never necessary to redo a model like that; you can hexedit changes in position.

+123 GCW uses the era "suffix" 2.

Has a melee attack been made? One that would be acceptable for clones, like the RC's one, or the ones in Halo?

i think zerted made a list somewhere probably in the 1.3 documentation..

why not enveloping it? it raises the chance that somebody exports it

i think both bfx and bfp use the first palpatine saberattack as meeleanim and it fits pretty well
theer hasnt been made a new just-for-nonjedis-meeleanim though

That's just a grenade throw animation. There are real infantry melee animations in the stock animation source.
