This is a wonderfull game. I've had it about since the release and have completed it three times (once on each difficulty) and decided to play it again. It was real cool and it has real good graphics/phisycs and wonderfull AI. If you don't have this game, buy it! It's deffinitly worth 49 bucks or whatever it costs.

little do you know that Gametoast accually had a SWRC division and we played in 2-3 battleweeks, ranked pretty well, still placed as 3rd overall for SWRC at http://www.eclipticalrealms.com, but when guru gave Gametoast its long needed makeover (site looks awesome guru) the SWRC division was disbanded, and the mod-team moved to their own little forum http://unrealmodding.forumsplace.com/ and are still poping up some new maps for the 32-man DS server quite regularily.

I Love that game. It is problable the best singleplayer game i have ever played. I have it for xbox wich i wish i would have got it for pc because of mods, maps, and all those goodies. But the AI is unbelieveablely good. I think that the game was kindof under rated because it was compared to halo in so many ways.

Anyway great game for any system. Problably still a good by for cp, but with xbox360 comin out and no one plays online anymore for xbox it many be better to get for pc if u don't have it already.

Played it , loved it, beat it, uninstalled it. If I'm going to play MP, I'll play Gunz or Battlefront -- and since I'd already beaten the game, there was no point in keeping it installed.

Still, it is an excellent game. I highly recommend it. The only complaint I had were the grey battle droids and blue super battle droids.

get the real game JAFFA! It's much better and has features that the demo lacks. For you who have it, here are some fun stuff:

Play SP maps using MP gameplay: Start and MP game and enter open [mapname] for a complete maplist see \GameData\Maps. You can use this in SP to play MP maps too.

Easter Eggs
Enter Open 1138 in the donsole after starting up an MP or SP game (doesn't matter, only the gameplay is different)
There is a lightsaber in the RAS level, before the "boss" (the trando with the Minigun) in a ventilation shaft.

I'm getting it for christmas. I looked at it, and was unsure, but after reading so many good reviews, it made sense that I should at least play it through once.

yep, it's real good, allthough the MP part could be worked on. But the SP is fine

Yes the single player is good, but it could have been longer. Oh, and the wookies kick booty! :P

well, it could have ended differently, unfortunatly there won't be any sequel since the ppl who made this game where kicked because of the THX-1138 reference 01/138 (The name of Boss)

I've just been waiting for the price to drop on it! I really do want it 'cause I love Star Wars games and I'm a big fan of the Unreal engine. (UT2004 rox!)

I never buy games at their initial price. I drooled over Battlefront for months till a friend sold me his copy for $20. (I don't know if I'll be able to keep holding out for BF2 :D )

I've just recently really got hooked on Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy!!!!! You can get it for $10 now at WalMart! (check out my poll!)

Once I get broadband, I'd love to see a big bunch of us here at GT re-start the GT SWRC stuff. (with Guru's blessing, of course!)

Well, i'm warning you: DON'T GET THIS GAME FOR THE MULTIPLAYER PART!! It sucks!! There are no bots, the few ppl who play online are either noobs or hackzors who just use wall and speed hacks. So the only reason, and it's a darn good reason, to get this game is it's singleplayer part, cause it's real good.

It is surprising to see that there are few "qualified" Star Wars Republic Commando's users playing at this game on the Web... Are you sure none severs host interesting parties ?

Yep, i check qĂșite often cause i liked the MP part when there are good and non-cheaters playing.

I guess you must spend more time looking for a nice server than playing on it... Is it right ?

havent played in a while online, but the thing that bugs me most is when the server has instant respawn weapons, and people spam the anti armor (grenade launcher). Its so irritating cause you cant do anything, you just die every few seconds.

Man, that's disappointing to hear! That makes it pretty certain I'll wait for the price to drop a little more. (maybe then I can get my LAN party buddies to go along with it too.)

Of course, if we could get a Gametoast league together again, we could probably have some pretty fun matches! :D

Yeah, that would be cool. Bu another reason that the MP part is bad is cause i think it's too simple. There are only a few weapons and it's realy only FFA even when you play the asault levels (the asault levels are a good thing about the MP part) cause ppl just camp and kill everyone comming, no matter what team you are on.

i played ctf almost exclusively, and it was fun. i like the nade physics a lot, very useful for taking down people chasing you. it sucked how you could only carry 2 weapons at a time, tho. bots would have been nice, too.
ppl do tend to camp on assault, its more or less the goal of the defending team.
