Looks awesome! Except lotsa mobs can climb ladders, so if there's no door to your base you may encounter some enemies in your base.

Well, I may as well post some screens of on of my bases, my treehouse: (Large pics) Building this base wasn't exactly easy, especially since I burned it down at least twice by accident. Also, just so you know, it's built backwards into the wall behind it. And it's not quite done.

What's up with the minimap?

Also, just an offside, I have a video ready (20 minutes), where I lightly touch on what was changed in the recent update. Would you guys want me to upload that or make a few videos where I go in depth into what was updated?

The minimap's a mod. I know, call hax, but it was soooooo useful. There were so many places identical to the spot where I picked to have this treehouse on my world (awesome, I know) that I needed something like it. Also, I just got the cell-shaded texture pack, and holy crap, is it awesome.

Hmm. Interesting. Not something I'll be looking into though. Something like that would take me out of the game.

Lol, I deleted that post because I realized that the reason the update meant nothing to me is because it came out before I got the game.
So I just spent 2 1/2 hours stuck in a dungeon, and I must say, I made off well. My inventory is completely full. My actual loot from the dungeon sucked, but I made out with over 64 iron, 20 gold, and 150 Redstone, which is why I went there in the first place, as well as a diamond and 7 lapis lazuli. I went through a stone pickaxe and two iron ones in the time I was there. I also made 5 or 6 obsidian ponds, so if I feel the need to add more nether portals to my world, I know where to look.

Nice, lotsa people playing this now. Is everyone playing on SMP now? I usually just do peaceful and build stuff. But I heard mention of a GT server, and I'd like to see one.

Okay, I broke my main save, which depresses me. I got a mod that makes coral reefs, and now my game crashes every time I try to load without it installed, and with it installed, it's laggy as heck, with a framerate of probably 1 frame every 2 seconds. I think the only way I can fix it is to remove the reefs via a map editor, so does anyone know where I can get one?

If you did that I think they'd still be in the code. Copy your world out, and reinstall the game.

delete the minecraft.jar and open the console again.

Minecraft has caught on like a disease at my school. First only I played it, then my friends got it, then all these kids started illegally downloading it...bad kids you go to private school you can pay $15 for a game

Yeah, a friend of mine did the same. Same week he flipped over his Lexus. I don't know what to make of that whole ordeal. Karma?

I've got an underwater base/house-thingy goin. It's pretty huge so far and I plan to make it bigger.
