Battlefront Project Final!

I took a break from modding for a while, but now i messed with my mod some more and a final version will be here within the month.

BFP FINAL
- Compatibility with conversion pack, BFP mode
- Changes: rifle is now semi and burst (semi charges to stun), knife has a 3rd person anim but no 1st person, force sonic + force whirlwind added, rocket SBD, various weapon models, stuff i forgot.
- New heroes:
Secret Apprentice (reskin)

Wow, really cool! I remember the beta version and it was ok, it had a lot of bugs though. Glad to see you back in action.

This is probably an incredibly n00bish question, but I've heard about the battlefront project a lot and I have no idea what it is. Could someone please fill me in and/or show me where I could learn about it? Thanks.

I'd rather not have any other mods modify the Conversion Pack. Besides, it's mission-heavy as it is and if you start adding a whole bunch of missions through this that force use of the Conversion Pack as well (to get the full effect) then you limit other users' choices in terms of what mods they want to use at any given time.

It doesn't modify the conversion pack, I'm using the addme. If someone wished to use another mod besides mine then they could just delete the addon folder and the BFP eras would go away.

I know how you're doing it. I know what options are available. I'm telling you that I'd prefer if the work done on the Conversion Pack stayed in the Conversion Pack. I'm telling you that if someone wants the full benefit of your mod, they would only be able to use the Conversion Pack and it, and likely no other mod, which is the limiting factor I mentioned.

Oh i see. I think i'll just make a alternate addme available that has conversion pack compatibility.

I think it is just a mod to add new characters or reskinning of older characters with new weopons. Looks alright. I prefere to have the origanal maps with all the origanal characters. I think it might be a new era though and in that case I might give it a go.

It will most likely be a "new era" simply because that gives it the most compatibility. You can read about what it is in more detail in the old WIP thread:

i cant follow the debate over the convo pack but otherwise im excited to finally see this map again! :P
