Crashing with no sev 3 errors? [Solved]

ok so i made a minor change to my sides munged and then bam lots of maps now crash i have ben looking through my error log but can't find any sev 3 errors here is my log

i have noticed that the maps that crash have wookiees but the only change i made to them was i changed their charge effect

It might be that your computer can't render everything and then crashes.

i think thats some "whatsgoingon" message rather than an error regarding battlefronts effects-handling, i dont think it wouldcrash the game (except if something is overloaded and batlefront cant handle it anymore)

I don't know if this is causing the crash, but you probably should fix that.

So you are saying any map, including stock ones, that have wookiees crash?
Where did you put this modded wookiee side?

no its my modded side that has been working for ages but i changed the bowcaster charge effect and now on maps with my wookiee unit it ctds.

and if you remove the charge effect and go back to the original effect does the side work?
If it does then it stands to reason there is something wrong with the charge effect and you would need to let us know what you were trying to change.

i was just changing the color of the charge effect to green i will change the effect to the default charge and see if that fixes it

edit that fixed it :runaway: has anyone else ever had this problem?

Where were you putting the new charge effect? Meaning in the effect folder of a modded side or a common folder. Ideally it should be in the side folder and have a different name from the original.

lol maby but it also happened with my fragmentation grenade launcher the funny thing is they are both in the rebels side
