OK,I've read little of the FAQ to be sure to ask that question,i've downloaded the no CD modtools,I received one .exe file,i put it in the game folder and opened it,it opened the game in windowed mode,do I still need to download the original modtools or is that how it's supposed to be?if so I'll need an alternate link,if not then I'm confused

What you have downloaded is the BF2 Modtool's Debugger. It's for debugging your map/mod.

I told you I read the FAQ,I need an alternate link,when I checked zero editor it was on filefront,I can't download there,I need an alternate link and I think the only way is for someone to upload there,unless there already is a link

What is the problem with filefront?? But the first link found with google is from gamefront. Does this work for you??

Yes filefront redirectes you to gamefront. There was a mirror link a while agon on lucasfiles.com. But this site is down.

As far as I know filefront is something like a part of gamefront.
Assuming that you want more than just the debugger and the mapping tool I started uploading the installer for the complete mod tools with my dropbox. But even if I don't have to use my bandwith myself it will take about 6h, so if this matter is resolved somehow or someone has the ability and will to upload faster, let me know instantly so I can stop.

Yes and no, the entire site used to be at filefront.com, but around two years ago they decided to move the main site to gamefront.com, making the the download links from there obsolete, as they all redirect to the frontpage. However the game-specific sub-sites are still at <game title>.filefront.com and still exist. Though major0spidey might have also gotten blocked by the site directly, as they have banned many countries, including several english-speaking nations such as the United Kingdom (I think). I hope that clears thing up.

Canada isn't banned, though I know that some European countries are.

Because that means you are blocked by File/GameFront. The links are not the problem. Lukily, most of the big mods are stored elsewhere, as well as most of the mods made recently. Here is an alternative link for the mod tools: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2qwkq ... dtools.exe

If you can't find a non-gamefront link for a mod, ask for it on this thread. And remember:

NEED HELP,NOT SURE WHERE TO POST: when I open the game it tells me there are too much misions (missons 533>=500) Is that bad?

You haven't the 1.3 patch right?? That will fix it.

I meant modtool's license,they said I have to write my address I believe.
I do use the 1.3 patch,Is that why it glitched?

yes the number of missions is limited. the 1.3 patch raise this number.

zeroeditor,so what happens when I have more missons than the limit?I maunged a new map when I tried it it said the mission.lvl is missing,does that have anything to do with the limit?

maybe maybe not. Is there a mission.lvl in your map/mod folder??
