Well the Rebs of course should have X-Wings. (Proton torpedoes would be nice addition)
I think Y-Wings would be pretty cool in multiplayer (I've just recently got a few fellow LAN buddies hooked)
Those B-Wings in your screenie look pretty cool.
In Tie vs. X-Wing, I always liked the speed and agility of A-Wings.
Millenium Falcon maybe, if you can keep it to only one at a time.

Empire
Tie fighter of course.
Tie Interceptor.
Tie Bomber
Lambda class shuttle?
Tie Advanced or Vaders Tie (if one at a time)

what i could do is make vader and skywalker heal the fighter like a pilot but more so .

if only i could make vader only use his tie and skywalker use the xwing ....

maybe i could make solo or the bespin guy ...forgot his name instead of luke ... but same problem making them only use the falcon

I was actually thinking of non-AI players for the Falcon and DV's TIE. As long as only one of each ship was available at a time.

However... if you did want to have the Hero characters fly their respective ships, you might could set it up so they simply spawn IN (or AS) thier appropriate ships. Don't know if that would work, but sounds good in theory.

Ok, yo lost some pride... agian... lol joking anyways, Bandu, fro the alliance you should make the Z-95 Headhunter... tho it's a crappy ship, it should balance out with the tie raptor. This is how i think of it:
Light Fighters: Tie Raptor vs Z-96 headhunter
Medium FIghters: Tie Fighter vs A-wing
Heavy Fighters: Tie Interceptor vs X-wing
Heavy Assault Ships: Tie Defender vs B-wing
Bombers: Tie Bomber vs Y-wing

Those are the ships i would use, but it's really up to you to decide (duh!)

God man, will you ever cease to amaze me? I mean, three maps, plus all those custom ships you gotta make... you've got a lot of work ahead of you man. Seriously, if you need help, just ask. I'd be happy to help you with anything you need.

But it looks awsome. I noticed the Defender flying around outside the hangar too. Can't wait to try that baby out. As for what ships the sides should have? Hmm... well, the Rebels should definitely have X-Wings, Y-Wings, and B-Wings. If possible, I'd love to see some A-Wings in there too. Actually, if you ask Saturn, he may be willing to let you use his V-Wing (once he finishes it, that is).

As for the Empire, they should definitely have the basics; Fighters, Bombers, and Interceptors. And Defenders, of course. Those four are a must-have. The Raptor'll probably be cool too. As for a fifth... well, I can probably see the Retaliator fitting in very well with this map. Either that, or I'd suggest maybe taking a shot at a Lambda-Class Shuttle. That would be really cool.

I usually only think of ships that were actually in the movies, but if it's cool and seems like it's in it's place, I'm open to EU type ships too. (V-Wings, Raptors, TIE Defenders?)

But he's definitely going to have Defenders and Raptors, and the B-Wing... we can be sure of those. But as for the others (A-Wings, Interceptors, V-Wings)... well, we'll just have to wait and see.

UH, the V-wing, being made for SWBF by L-5-R, is an atmospheric ship.. It's an airspeeder. ..uses the air to enhances it's engines or something. . .(why didn't they stick with the good ol vector thrust ions?)

hey, can i alpha test it? and why hasn't anyone done a tie advance X1, it would be a simple matter(i think) to modify the tie interceptor so that you get the X1

and may I remind you, that IF you 'fly' the ship, the objects like VehicleSpawn etc. WOULDNT move with the ship. so unless you want the ship moving, and the spawning in the space, then it wouldn't be possible - yet lol

Note the key word: could be. It's not definite that Bandu's going to use them, so I said he may be using them. Though I don't see why not...
