Looks like someone painted his armor with highlighters. Maybe using a less bright (for lack of a better word) yellow, or orange, would make him look cooler?

It looks kinda painty.

That was what my sister said. I am just beginning to use GIMP and plus I am new to skinning units. I will try make him less 'bright.' Thanks for the suggestion.

woner11, the main tools I used to make this skin was the Pencil, Smudge, and Fill tool. I will learn the ways of photoshoppings.

@AQT- I'm not saying I can do any better, just my opinion.

but I say, you can do better!
its very easy, just select in gimp or photoshop or
whatever the parts you want to paint and fill them
with down turned opacity with your color and you will keep all details

That skin's pretty good, but, it does look pretty highlighter-y. But (off-topic) i really want that game.
