Those who can't see: quote the post in a reply. The link to the image should be there. Copy and paste it into your browser address.

They look a little painty, what kind of program did you use to edit them, Faceman?

I think it's GIMP, but maybe it's to much colour

Agreed; it looks like a "Select by Color" tool + a hue change. I'd advise you to use the Fuzzy Select tool or the Paths tool instead, and in some cases the "Colorize" tool instead of a hue change.

I did do a bit of editing on the model itself, but this is more of a texture job, so it's going here.

Very nice. I tried a reskin of the destroyed ATTE but it looks nothing near as good as that.

Battlefront 2 won't work on my cousin's Vista because of his graphics card, so I can't put them in game until I get home in July. :x

Also, I used GIMP, but this is my first time doing skins, and I'm actually pretty satisfied.
(Also, the skins are either edited from Satti's skinpack, or the BFX assets)

Don't blame Vista for a graphics card problem....but even if you don't have BF2, you can still see your skins in the Msh Viewer tool.

Depending on his card, you can. EVERY SINGLE CARD HP has given me is incompatible with vista.

How do u get ur custom skin in the msh viewer?

You have to rename your skin as the name the msh uses, i.e. imp_inf_trooper.tga, and rename (to something else) the original skin. Put your skin in the msh folder, and run the msh viewer.

Now, why is that?

No renames necesary.

Have the MSH and the TGA's it uses - doesn't matter what they're name is, as long as it's the one that's called for in the MSH file. Do get it, open the MSH file with anything that understands text, even Notepad, and search for "tga". Take everything that shows, make sure they're in the same folder, then click-and-drag the MSH file into the Viewer.
