Figure I'd start a topic just so we can all drool in one coordinated place.

Today was an amazing day for reveals! We got quite a bit of Halo 3: ODST gameplay, not to mention the brand new Halo Prequel slated for Fall 2010: Halo Reach! Infinity Ward showed up and played through the first level of Modern Warfare 2, which looks very promising! Valve came out of nowhere with a Left 4 Dead 2 reveal! Set somewhere in the deep south, we get southern themed zombies......and tanks in overalls......Oh boy....

Not to mention Microsofts un-veilment of the brand new X-Box LIVE-Facebook/Twitter/Live TV/Radio coordinations! Can't wait for the next couple of days. If anyone has got any info on the EA/Ubisoft Conference that's going on for the rest of today. Please post whats up, I can't watch G4 due to broadcasting issues over here, and Gamespot won't even cover it....

Project Natal is awesome. Nintendo is going to need to unveil something impressive to out-do Microsoft this time.

That alone gave meh an excitement.

I've got mixed feelings about having an overpowered pistol once more in the halo series; on one hand, it satisfies my nostalgia. On the other, it's, well, a pistol.

I'd have to say Modern Warfare 2 takes the cake for me, that Ice-climbing and snowmobile sequence was absolutely stunning.

I actually have an article on Modern Warfare and it's first level, and the interesting thing is the cool camera angles, which may be a chock to players. Unless that has been changed.

I've actually got to take a look at the HALO: Reach trailer. Looks cool!

Speaking of major entertainment events, anyone see the MTV awards Eminem incident?

Splinter Cell: Conviction and Project Natal really took the cake for me. Natal was spectacular, but you really gotta feel for Tony Hawk, "Hey, we've got this awesome coollookingacceleromerpowered board!" Project Natal: "You don't need a controller!" Poor guy. :P Aw well, he has boatloads of money already and some people might want an actual controller.

At first I didn't really think Natal was any different than the Eye camera for PS2. But then they showed Paint Party. That demo really showed just how well the camera can track motions. Every little gesture, every little flick of the wrist and twist of the hand that he did, the onscreen character mimicked perfectly. Unlike the bottom of Kudo's shoe. THAT was embarrassing.

Oh yeah, snowmobiles in MW2 RAWK and Mylo is darn creepy. Cool but creepy, sort of like Alan Wake.
Can't wait to see the other players big items tomorrow.

Predictions for Nintendo:
Hidden/Spoiler:

Glimpse of Metroid title (Codename probably)
MotionPlus info
The Conduit release date
Some facepalm worthy Wii [thing] game
More nearly useless channels
New System (Doubt it, but hype is awesome)
Sony:
Hidden/Spoiler:
(Hopefully) Something huge.

That would be the understatement of the year, right there. I am now reminded of why I am a Star Wars nerd.

Assassin's Creed 2 trailer was cool. Same thing with Mass Effect 2 ( If I can ever play the first one :x )And two new Halo games? That's probably better than a movie.

Oh my, The Old Republic trailer/cinematic/whatever it was was truly incredible.
Hidden/Spoiler:
Was it Malak who was attacking the Temple? or some other random Sith with half a face?

Here's what I've heard Nintendo is unvieling:
Hidden/Spoiler:
New Mario for Wii
New Metroid for Wii
New Zelda for Wii
New Zelda for DS

I'm not sure about the three Wii games, but the Zelda for DS was already confirmed. The official trailer can be found on the Nintendo Channel on the Wii. It's called LoZ: Spirit Tracks (right now) and it'sthe sequel to Phantom Hourglass, so yes, it will be cartoonish. The most I could get from the simple trailer was that Link is a conductor of a train, the world is no longer covered in ocean, and you work with a Phantom (essentially a giant, black/grey suit of armor) in the dungeons to solve puzzles.

So I'm going to try to be on GuruChat during the entire Nintendo Conference and probably Sony's too.

Anyone care to join?
