didn't see anything in the FAQ or anywhere else...google didn't help much on this one..

was trying to add a msh onto my foliage editor so i didn't have to spend all day adding my foliage object to my map but i had to make my own prp file for the map and after adding the msh files to my maps msh folder and odf's respectively i still cant get foliage to appear via foliage editor...are there any basic tutorials out there?

You don't ever actually see the foliage in ZeroEdit if that's what you're asking. You just see painted colors representing it.

yeah i noticed that...but after I made my changes i would place a patch in front of a spawn point, munge and test it...wanted to make small changes before i went and blasted my map with grass

was just looking for any basic tutorials, since the one provided in the mod tools goes on an assumption that a PRP file already exists for map ABC

You could copy one from say, Yavin and then edit it to your needs.( remember to rename to ABC.prp)

thats what I did...copied the prp file from yavin, put in on my file, copied over the msh files that the prp file uses and put it into my maps folder...but the game will still show nothing after I put it on the map

EDIT
have to bump in the hopes that someone is able to point me to a tutorial or write a quick one up...cuz I keep trying on this but am lost.

sorry for the :spam:
