@The_Emperor - Ooh. I've never heard of a Nickel Metal Hydride battery. I know of Energizer and Duracell...

It's not a brands name, its a type of battery.

You need to REGISTER that email address as a "wii friend". Go into the message board on your wii, and add a new person to your address book. Instead of adding a new "wii" friend, you should have the option to add either a cell phone user or Pc user. Click this, enter the details. That person will have to respond to this email before any communication between the 2 is possible.
Here's a pic Use the icon on the right to add a pc email address or cell phone address..

Once you have registered an email address using your wii, that email address will be able to receive outgoing emails FROM your wii, and you will be able to send emails TO your wii. Your wii email address is "
[email protected]". (Where the X's are your wii console number).
You should then be all set to go.. Hope that helps!!

Opera browser is promising. Nintendo needs more codec support both in its browser and system. I was hopping you could download the latest FlashPlay but you can't. even though it says a version of FlashPlayer is built in. Wait maybe it's the full version.
Anyways the browser is very promising.

Ah, i cant wait for
Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it wont be long now

im happy they arent using the Wiimote in it, but a GameCube Controller/Classic Controller instead, that way i think the gameplay will be better, platformers like that just dont fit with a Motion Sensing Controller IMO

Oh and THIS really scares me :p(Grandma)

Is the Classic controller wired? If it is that means I'll have to move my Wii when I have to play SSMB...

ill use one of my three GameCube controllers to keep the feel i have when playing it, most believably ill use my Grey Wavebird Controller as it's Wireless, and Grey, wich makes it seem like something made for Wii.

... Purple controller??

And has anyone seen a black Wii (besides the ones in advertisements), 'cuz I've seen them advertised, but nobody I know has one or anything.
And... are there any current uses for the USB ports in the back of the Wii?

The USB ports aren't supported - yet. I would imagine that Nintendo will have a system update enabling them in the near future. It just makes sense, especially if they keep adding new games and software to the Virtual Console, that eventually you will run out of space in your Wii to store them. Could Nintendo be releasing a USB Hard Drive in the future? Perhaps.. It would be nice if they would give support for one. I have 5 hard drives at home right now, and nowhere to put them. I'd definitely invest in an external HDD enclosure if it would work with the Wii's USB.
It would also be cool if we could use a keyboard with the Wii. The wiimote is a little clumsy and time consuming when entering text - although I've gotten alot better and faster at it than when I first started out. A keyboard would be a Godsend tho'!

There are no black Wii's. Yet. They will come, but Nintendo had to produce them in one colour to get enough for the launch.
