Okay, so I've realized that these infamous, evil-looking, blood-red, Imperial Royal Guards never get that much attention. I am here to renew that. I've always thought they were cool looking the way they just stay still the whole time except when asked to leave by Palpatine in Ep.6 or get knocked over by Yoda using the Force in Ep.3 and everyone laughs. They are pretty deadly when they are called upon to protect the Supreme Chancellor/Emperor Palpatine but the thing is they don't get much spot light.

Heck, even the Republic Commandos get a whole video game and series and they're not actually in the saga itself! I think it would be awesome if LA would come out with a Royal Guard-style video game.

What is your impression about them?

Most games aren't about guarding stuff or whacking people with sticks.

You're here to renew the tradition of Ignoring the Royal Guards?

Marth has a point - it'd be hard to make a game about anyone whose job is (as far as we can judge by the movies) to stand still all day guarding someone who really doesn't need guarding.

Really, the only time they got a load of attention was when Crimson Empire came out, and it seems the writers would have a hard time matching something at the level of that comic, which is probably why we don't seem that often anymore.

This could be an interesting game If the Guards were sent to guard Prisons/outposts, and then you would have to defend your positions, but other than that, they are not commandos, and they don't raid places..
