droid fighter in walking mode

On the films, (as you all know) the Vulture Droids can go in walking mode.
My question is, would it be possible to use the acklay animations on it to give it the appearance of it in walking mode.

Thanks

No. It'd need new anims and wouldn't be able to fly (may be able to with lots of lua coding, unsure about that).

About the flying: That would be okay for a land map. But not in space.
About the new animations: Great (in a sarcastic way).
:?

P.S. :faint: :faint: Does anyone want to make the animations for me?

I can do the anims.. Simple as that. I'll make it a walker, that's also fine.. But then (looking at MAV) is there some coding to make it flyable? Some lua lines that if you press 'take off' you'll actually take of? Any weird odf mix between a walker and flyer?

I won't make it flyer over. But if Mav' wants to give that a go, i'll do the model

Just make it a unit and give it a special stats jump pack.

Or give it a dummy 'Transform' weapon and run some lua 'OnFireWeapon' to turn it into an air vehicle... actually I'm not sure all those stats could be changed at once in game. Even if you respawned it in place which would look weired.

Don't quote me on this, I'm not sure, but from my impression of lua coding the second option - 'transform' weapon would turn every VDS into a flyer. May be totally wrong though.

No, you're right.

And in the end, this topic could have stopped at the second post. Sometimes it's really just not worth it.

So can someone tell me which program to use to make the animations?
