SWBF2 PSP Mod

Not to toot my own horn, but nobody ever looks in the XBOX/PS2/PSP modding forum, and I just want to make sure that all PSP owners are made aware of a mod that will make the PSP version of Star Wars Battlefront 2 worth playing, and actually make it pretty addictive in the case of my friends and I.

Trying to capture a CP in the Yavin 4 campaign. Not going so well.
Image
It's a good thing the popup text works! Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to get interrupted in the middle of a battle! These also work on Multiplayer. The message will display and you'll have to press X, but the game won't pause.
Image
Fighting on Coruscant.
Image
More Coruscant, from an alternate perspective.
Image
I'm an Ewok in standard Endor Conquest. I'm about to eat a grenade.
Image
Geonosis. There's the beautiful AT-TE!
Image
The AT-TE clearly works, as the one-and-a-half hailfire tanks will tell you.
Image
Be very very quiet. I'm hunting killer bugs with death rays! In the distance, you can see a spider droid marching and Count Dooku blocking absolutely nothing, like he always does. That's a jet trooper at the top, not another Geonosian.
Image
Playing as a Geonosian on Geonosis Conquest.
Image
Hailfire tanks work just fine. I'm'a go blow up the AT-TE.
Image
LAATs in Geonosis Team Deathmatch.
Image
An LAAT shooting at a spider droid.
Image
Fighting rebel scum in Jabba's Palace. Jabba's beauty shot got messed up by the radar.
Image
The Rancor's about to chew on some Boba Fett.
Image
Local Assault. The Tusken class selection screen.
Image
Local Assault. That Jedi is not my friend. I will crush him.
Image
Local Assault. The Jawa class selection screen.
Image
Local Assault. That Tusken is not my friend. I will cut him.
Image
Anyone who's played Hoth on the PSP knows that battles never get anywhere near this messy.
Image
It's kind of hard to tell, but that's a whole crapload of guys on the radar. Obviously more than ten AI per team.
Image
A Jawa on Mos Eisley Conquest.
Image
A Tusken on Mos Eisley Conquest.
Image
Defending Naboo from the Trade Federation!
Image
The Droid Marine on Naboo. I just thought this was a good time to show that there are more than ten AI per team in the battle because nineteen AI are selecting one class.
Image
A droideka joins the battle. Always a good idea to hide behind them.
Image
The four playable Jedi in Order 66.
Image
The battle's not nearly as exciting when you only get one frame to try and explain it all.
Image
Does Anakin Skywalker have to choke a b****?
Image
A panoramic view of Utapau! No fog and clipping. It looks great, but without clipping the game runs slow when there's a lot of AI.
Image
Utapau from the other side.
Image
More Utapau.
Image
Playing as a Wookie on Kashyyyk. Not very interesting for the very last picture.

Indeed! My friends and I love playing the multiplayer, now that it has dramatic enhancements like bigger battles and even some cooperative and competitive campaign missions.

Sadly, the PSP is vastly different from the PC, PS2 and XBOX. No models, maps, skins, sounds or any other form of custom content can be put onto it.
Y'know, I've been wondering about the contact information of the guy that did the PSP-porting.
I'd like to ask him (nicely, of course!) if he'd give out the source of the PSP version of SWBF2 in the same way that we now have the source for the PC version. I'd LOVE to make my own shell.lvl for the PSP so that I wouldn't have to replace Capture the Flag and play the guessing game when trying to search for a specific non-CTF game within the many CTF levels and eras.

I decided to post all of the pictures in this topic, though there's still only a link in the actual topic for the mod.

I had to remove all links/downloads due to the fact that we've been asked to (it's breaking EULA since only the PC has addon abilities). However, to honor Broadus' hard work I have not deleted this topic. Please do not ask for these files. It's breaking the EULA contract.
This file download contains game files from Star Wars Battlefront for the PSP. You cannot hexedit the game files and redistribute them legally. People may do it through email, that's their business, but posting it publicly is not legal. When you do, you are essentially re-distributing parts of the game which is a violation of the software license agreement.

If you have done this, you should remove them, but it's your risk. On the other hand, the forum admins may take issue with it, so you should check with them.

The only files that can be distributed legally are game addons created with the mod tools for the pc within the guidelines of the PC mod tools.

Any hacking or modification you do you cannot re-distribute. The original file was compiled as part of the shipped game. What's legal is lvls compiled by modders using the mod tools.

Giving people instructions is fine, but telling people how to bootleg the game with an ISO is not legal.

Sorry all.
